My sister, a fifth grader, and I were watching an old episode of Parks and Recreation yesterday and on it they mentioned that gay marriage wasn’t legal. She looked at me and said, “Of course gay marriage is legal. What do they mean?” I explained to her that it wasn’t legal until a couple years ago. She was quiet for a second and then said “That’s so stupid! I can’t believe it.”

This is a new generation who can’t remember that two men or two women couldn’t get married before. Who think anything and everything LGBTQ+ is normal. This is proof things are getting better.

i hope you’re all aware of the 300 recently discovered love letters between two gay british soldiers during ww2 that are going to be possibly adapted into a film.

they’re beautiful and poetic and tragic and heart-wrenching and brave. i highly suggest going and reading the excerpts.

Falling in love with you was like starting a TV-series of which you know that there will only be one season.
