People often say that you just need to believe and pray harder, as if faith alone can fix every struggle. But that is not how life works. Believing does not take away suffering, and praying does not always bring answers. Sometimes, no matter how much a person prays, the silence stays. It does not mean they lack faith. Some problems simply cannot be solved by prayer.

It is unfair to call those who could not continue weak or faithless. Many of them prayed with all their heart and waited for peace that never came. Letting go was not turning away from faith. It was the result of being too tired after trying for too long. People talk about miracles, but they forget that not everyone gets one. Strength is not about praying endlessly. It is about those who kept living even when nothing changed.

If life is supposed to be a gift, what kind of gift brings such agony to the one who receives it? Choosing to live and to suffer is not supposed to make you a better believer. It is only easier to say such things when the pain is not yours.
