When I was walking alone on the sidewalk after school, I learned a reflection of myself from that moment. Instead of walking in the wide space on the side, I prefer to walk on a narrow concrete side. And since I am walking on that narrow space of concrete, I must balance myself to not fall off the road, so I watched every step that I take. But the more I watch m steps, the more it is difficult for me to balance myself. And there’s a question “why?”. So I stopped for a while, focused my sight on the end of the sidewalk, and started walking. I am amazed at what has just happened. I have managed to reach the end of the sidewalk without falling and without having difficulty balancing.
Relating that in real life is that if you have a dream that you want to achieve, you just need to focus on it. Set and focus your heart, mind, and actions on that dream of yours. Don’t get distracted by what is happening in your surroundings while you are striving hard to achieve your goals. Don’t mind the negative comments that you might hear from the people around you. Don’t get discouraged by the mistakes you have made, make them your guide instead. Don’t get affected by the struggles, obstacles, crucibles, and trials that come along your way. Don’t focus on others, focus on yourself. Don’t give up until you achieve and own it.
