How the high fashion, high vis is coming along. I actually don't think I'm done yet, wanna tack on some hardware like snaps to hold open the lapel and maybe a detachable hood. Of course it isn't perfect, but I'm not a tailor and this isn't my wheelhouse, just wanted to see the idea.

It's interesting to me how at work, I encounter people who request more authority, feel like their authority is being challenged, or take it upon themselves to be teachers/role models even if they are not the best example. Meanwhile I've spent my entire time over here going, yep, I'm just a worker. Wanna show up, do my work, and go home. Don't wanna be a lead, don't want people asking me questions, yet I somehow keep accumulating more responsibility. I'm being thwarted and I don't like it.

Been working on something else lately. Just chasing the spark. This one's just been getting a lot of attention because it took over my livingroom.

Been a long time fan of small business Volante Design, and unfortunately they announced they are closing down. Didn't always have the money to indulge in their products, and missed a few of their things over the years. One of the several vests they offered, made me think of like, a cyberpunk courier service, so I played with my own concept of a sci fi High Vis vest.

Probably wouldn't actually do for standards on reflectors and whatnot, but gave it kinda the lines and big pockets. Made it a little more boxy unifit than the sleek contours the others were known for. Definitely reminding myself I'm not a tailor with this one, but I'm sure I'll like it well enough for what it is.

Sometimes I think about how I don't much care for alcohol. And then I consider how the entire art of mixology exists to mask the flavors because other people don't like it either.

There's definitely a lot of people who are way better at this than I am, but I'm trying my hand at a dovetail box. It's not the most uniform thing, and some of my joints have larger gaps than others, but it does fit together tightly.

Going through one of those lulls where I don't want to do anything creative, and feel like I could sleep for a thousand years. Telling myself it's the state of the world, it's my living situation, it's a multitude of factors doesn't really help. Just trying to survive out there.

Just gonna call this one finished for now. Not sure what else to do with it, but experimented with texturing stuff and filling it in more.

The only April fool here is me. If there's a joke, the world has been playing it on me. Not gonna mess with anyone, can be safe over here.

I've been doing another perspective piece. This one was based off an image shared in our discord of a church that had been renovated into a home. I did not agree with their design choices. Everything was square and gray, so I took it upon myself to take another swing at it.

Next up is the part where I fuck it all up and make it narsty by trying to add hatching and texture all over it because that's what I feel like messing with.
