introduction
hello there. I hope you’re having an outstanding day. here’s a bit about myself.
I’m called Elydir (not my real name) and I’m 17. my pronouns are she/her. I’m from America but I’m living in England right now as an exchange student. I’m studying as psychology, as film studies, and a2 maths. back home, I’m homeschooled. I love learning but sometimes get frustrated with school systems. that’s a topic for another time.
my favourite subjects are usually maths, science, and literature (though it really depends on the teacher). I’m also dabbling in some self study, mainly in philosophy and anthropology.
as for hobbies, I love horseback riding, playing piano, reading, and writing. I also love rock climbing and white water rafting, though I don’t get to do that very often.
I’ve never used tumblr before but I decided to make a studyblr to hopefully keep me motivated and give me inspiration. it seems like there’s a ton of wonderful people in this community and I’m sure I can learn a lot from them.
I’ll keep most if not all my posts original. I’ve nothing against re-blogging, it’s just not what I plan on doing. while I plan on keeping this blog focused on studying and perhaps planning/journalling, you may see bits of other areas of my life.
hopefully I didn’t ramble too much. cheers!
