This last little part of their kiss kills me so much because of two totally different posts I read about it. The first one said something like “aww look at how Lexa chases after Clarke’s mouth before she realizes that she has pulled away”. The other one mentioned how quick Lexa is to pull away herself when she realizes Clarke stopped kissing her back. So now all I can think is how caught up she is at first, how she wants to keep kissing Clarke so badly she doesn’t even realize what’s happening, but once she does she gets all self conscious and the fact that she tried to keep kissing her makes her feel even more stupid. And that breaks my heart because baby Lexa can’t think Clarke doesn’t want her. Because of course she does. She just can’t. Not yet.
