grabs you by the shoulders listen. listen to my words. i understand the urge to make fanfiction about yourself and to find a reality in which you're super awesome and great and everyone who hates you is wrong and dumb. i get it. you're better than that. you can love yourself without putting other people down, dehumanizing and generalizing, and retaliating against your oppressors.

Also stay away from people who say shit like "sexual attraction and romance addles the mind and makes you crazy and irrational and this is why being aro/ace makes you intellectually superior." I've seen that a couple times times on this hellsite. Stay away from anyone who tries to convince you that your racial identity/cultural identity/gender identity/sexual orientation/neurodivergence/any other intrinsic quality makes you a member of some master race that is inherently superior to the other humans.

At least in my mother tounge I recognize my style, very poetic and sometimes abusive of literary resources.

When I translate I fear of sounding robotic and AI.

I make a lot of comparisons and emphasis on words, but nothing looks as aesthetic as I intend when writing English.

I hate how it looks, I hate how it feels, how it reads.

It's not wanting to rewrite it from scratch, it's about wanting to be properly heard...

It's shitty fanfic after all, perhaps my readers would understand why it reads like that...

I won't defend digital circus but neither bash it because there's stuff we as a society need to see in fiction even if it makes us uncomfortable, fiction doesn't have to be made so we turn off our brains and mindlessly consume, you have to be critical on absolutely everything you watch, read, listen, etc...

Now, about digital circus, I dont care if that rabbit chokes, shoots, and disrespects women.

He is a misogynist, period, there's horrible people out there and that's it, he is one of them.

I seriously hope the movie has a "I understand but not justify" approach towards him.

I am indeed a bit disappointed, but not cancelling my teathre tickets, I spent 4400 yen on them 😡, and tbh, I'm fine with going to see some animated project that dared to be different.

But being honest I would have loved to see a more existential approach of trauma and anxiety than some psychological horror, but that's a personal problem uwu.
