Evaluation

Designing a logo isn't easy. In this project i designed my personal logo. I started researching through other designers where they used simple typefaces to create their logo in a smart way. I designed my logo using triangles (geometric shape), because i love designing with simple shapes, especially triangles because triangles have sharp crisp edges, which is my kind of design. My logo is designed to go with any color but on this project I choose these colors because it shows up and its looks simple yet its not. I had difficulty in the design process because I had to think about the letter S to make it in a geometric way, since S has curves but i managed to come up with a solution as i went during research.

Personal Branding by amyslatemdesign I spend every day branding other people’s companies and products, and so I decided it was about time I sat down, brain stormed and worked out a logo and brand identity for myself as a creative. I needed to find a balance between representing my graphic design side and my illustrating and art side so I decided the most effective way would be to personalise typography and let it speak by itself. The end product is based on my “amy” signature I sign my work with. After getting the right look with pencil, I then painted it with ink (which brought about some interesting quirks to the flow and ends of some of the letters), then scanned it in and cleaned it up by tracing it with the pen tool in illustrator. Nothing like a good ol’ vector. The colour palette is bold and bright and pretty distinctive. And I really like it, which is cool seeing that it’s for and about me, yay creative license.

Personal Branding by Kyleigh_Bezuidenhout The concept behind my personal branding was to create something that was strong and modern, the idea behind the logo was to take certain elements that I felt represented me and what I love. The logo represents a modern crest like look, it has a symbol in the shape of a crown along with three diamonds at the top which represent jewels. Because I love cats, and they are such a part of my life and who I am, I made the logo represent feline qualities, so the symbol, which is also the crown, looks cat like.

Nie Design by NieDesign Nie Design is my own personal brand identity with a passion for providing graphic design, branding, art direction web design and illustration services for print, digital and the advertising space. The brand is centred on an exploration of my personal experiences and history through design and the arts. As a multimedia artist, I used a representation of my skill set as various graphical elements depicting a simple, youthful and contemporary visual identity. My aim is to bring an original and extensive approach to all projects and strive for more than what is expected given the imagined plan and scope.

Personal Branding by rachelswift This is my personal branding. It includes my logo, colour scheme, resume, portfolio, business cards, and a self promotional piece. Branding yourself is not an easy task and it took me quite some time to finally create an identity for myself. I wanted to express my unique, fun, creative side while also having my logo be recognizable. I hope you all enjoy seeing my work!

Christian Vizcarra ® - Personal Brand by christianvizcarra This is my personal brand. My name is christian vizcarra cabrera , peruvian young designer , I always thought that the design can change things , create the future, creating worlds as well as the perspective of how things look better. Spend a lot of time developing this brand and I think I could finally accomplish something that can be presented to all , there is no better brand name oneself that always thought , by that very fact had a long way with mine , you see have one very long and very difficult to combine initial (C - V - C ) , so that live together in harmony and with a meaning , use the concept of fingerprint for the same reason that I believe that everyone is unique , as well as my work, my way of thinking, acting , and deciding things, and by that very fact that I have to defend mine idología above all things , and hence the second concept of the shield, because I have to defend my ideals , my work and my effort.

Evaluation

In this project, we had to make our very own book. It’s sounded fun and easy, but it wasn’t. Having to create three different collages was difficult for me, because I had to design collages. It was hard to come up with an idea for our very own collage design and using our own images to create these collages. I had a hard time to come up with an idea for the poem, which is “The Raven”. It was hard to understand the poem because of the language but I managed to do some research and understand the poem. I had a late start because I didn’t understand the poem real quick, so I took more time on researching before start designing the collages. The collages started to take shape after doing a lot of researching and understanding the meaning behind the poem, but I had less time for it. In this situation I didn’t not have to create my own images for the collages, but I tried to play with the images I found in copyright websites. My idea for the book was making a DIY hardcover book, I had a video tutorial to show me how the process for making the book, it was easy to make but it needed practice. My major problem as the printing process. I had problems on the print settings in InDesign. But I managed to go through these problems and managed to fix them.
