He laughed softly and shook his head, looking away from the brunette for an instant. “Well, thank you for finally saying it out loud. I already knew it, though, so don’t worry too much.” Turning his gaze back to the girl, his mouth hung slightly open as he feigned outrage. “Okay, first, that’s an awful card. You need to step up your game. Two, please, being able to tell how dark someone is? There’s nothing more weird than that. Just listen to how it sounds, Monroe.”
Rolling her eyes once again she gave him a little smirk, nodding her head. “Mhhm, yeah. I am so sure you already knew that. It doesn’t even shock me you would think so highly of yourself.” Getting up she pursed her lips as she walked over to him, shaking her head. “First, it is the best card to play. I think I am awesome at playing cards. Two, I am totally normal. I mean super normal. Can’t get more normal then me.”
