#Flutterbreeze's lore is minimal but both progens are the founders so i'd say they're both fairly important #my random progen (fae) does make lil sap charms n stuff using a process similar to the cured sap fae dragons use for building lairs tho #nothing too interesting for the custom progen (guardian) beyond “founded it n protects it with his life”#tho i had been thinking on making the whole of Flutterbreeze his charge in-lore. like a guardian king to his kingdom but much smaller scale

i am genuinely SO GLAD y'all enjoyed my idea of a Bruce fandragon

so i decided to snoop around to find dragons to get me close to the color range i was after. granted, they're broad ranges for my liking, but i will keep trying until i eventually get it!

element... is gonna be a different mess i'll deal with later (want either earth or shadow, since earth rare or shadow dark matches the eyes for the bird in question) seeing as i wanna try to get the ranges closer before renting a nest

so i had a thought after buying a dragon from a friend

bruce the parrotlet and his "eating dome"

#flight rising #was solely bc the dragon i bought which was supposed to look like a volcano had berry firebreather #so after thinking abt it i was reminded of Bruce and his eating dome #surprised i didn't find a dragon referencing this tbh #was gonna see if i can find a breed that eats plants and use that when i get the project going #but coatl is bird-like to me bc it has fully feathered wings hence the example being a coatl lol #would have to rent a shadow nest later to get the eye color right once i get close ranges to lend but that's for later me to figure out

bit of a lengthy post ahead, wasn't expecting it to be as long as it was. tl;dr pretty dragons real, just might need some help with geneing

had a dual color breeding project in the works for a while now, and i just got the second one i needed for it

(sand/sable/tan and sand/sable/umber)

had initially wanted to call it good after getting the sand/sable/tan dragon, but was hoping i'd get a male(so i didn't need to buy a silhouette scroll), so i kept going, and got sand/sable/umber from them

here's the scries in question, btw, with the dragons matching both below that. both were done on male pearlcatcher first, so to tell them apart easier, sand/sable/tan is on a female pearlcatcher. the full genes are cherub/trail/lace for the tan tert, and cherub/trail/points for the umber tert

(also i know it has nature on the scry, but the actual dragons have wind. when i do any sort of project, element isn't one of my priorities. if i think the colors are pretty, i'll get the project done myself. also unfortunately, the two dragons can't breed due to sharing an ancestor. i'll see if i can snag a dragon with sand/sable/brown range if peeps show interest for the colors, however!)

As the achievements Elemental Enterprise and Supporting Local Business both require use of the flight specific dragons, players in various flights have organised a specific dragon for players to buy and then resell with the goal of aiding players in getting the achievements themselves.

The randomize button

Combining random syllables together to sound vaguely name-like

Words/phrases in other languages

Normal human person names but given to a dragon (i.e. John, Isabella, Sam)

Names of characters from other media

Names from irl concepts/objects/places/etc (i.e. Colors, food, mythology)

Outside name generators (i.e. fantasynamegenerator.com)

Equal combination of any/most of these/Other

By usually, I mean what's the method you use the Most. What really works for ya. If you've only got like, one guy in there named after blorbo from your shows, don't count that Guy sdghSKJGH
