for a gift exchange i tried something new! don valley brick works park

this was my first full hoop and i'm very pleased :) i used trail maps and online photos to create the design and went from there

i used a mix of french knots, seed, stem, satin, long & short and blanket stitches. only after did i read to use a larger hoop to do the actual sewing and then mount in a smaller one, but next time!

Anyways I made myself a Scug Patch (A Scatch) with my embroidery machine. It’s not the best but I think it’s cute. I’ll likely make another that looks more like an actual slugcat rather than my stupid shitpost one but it’s good for now
