With a slightly breathless chuckle, Robin stood up, dusting of her jacket. That fight had been far more intense than she’d wagered, and she considered herself damn lucky to have escaped with a draw and only a few scrapes.

“And I underestimated you, too! I’ve never seen such magic before…a ‘Stand’, you called it?” she answered sheepishly. “So, apologies for that, you’re a formidable fighter..and it won’t be a mistake I’ll make again!”

With a soft laugh, Robin held her hand out to the other. “My name is Robin, tactician to the Haildom of Ylisse.”

“Hoho, that sounds like you’ve had your own share of fights.” Kakyoin straightened out his uniform, checking to see where the damage on the fabric had been made, he felt more than a few hits had ripped it in some areas.

“Magic? I wouldn’t say Stands are magic. It’s more like... a manifestation of psychic power. It’s connected to both the spiritual and mental side of a person.”

“No need to apologize when I’d done the same. In fact, I’m more than impressed with your skill in combat. Forgive me, you come off as a homebody at first glance. That deceptive appearance must serve you well against an opponent.”

The redhead looked down at her hand and took it in his. “Pleased to meet you, Robin. I am Noriaki Kakyoin, and I’m a painter by trade.”

I feel sort of sorry that I undervalued your skill since you weren’t a Stand user.” Kakyoin lifted himself up, dusting himself off as he looked towards the other he had just matched wits in a battle with.
