Mun is 29 years old. Therefore, this blog is under an 18+ restriction as things of a less savory nature, such as NSFW ( violence, smut, etc. ) can be found here. Please do not interact if you are a minor. I have absolutely zero interest and will just block you anyway.
Do not reblog threads or headcanons that don't include you. Primarily for non-roleplay blogs that have a habit of reblogging whatever they find interesting. I understand liking a post or responding, but beyond that, please don't interact.
This is a hobby, and I know we all want to have some fun writing. However, we all have stuff going on outside of the rp space, so please don't pester me for replies. I fully accept a nudge here and there, but please don't go overboard.
No godmodding.
I've seen this complaint off and on in the rp community. This is a ship-friendly/loving place. No shaming for loving to ship with people and explore relationship dynamics or smut. You can do your complaining somewhere, but it ain't about to be here.
Not spoiler free.

His response makes her laugh, which she thoroughly enjoys being able to do these days, and she smiles at him. He's trying to keep the mood light, and Eve finds herself smirking a little bit and then lifting her hand up to use a finger to make a spinning motion slowly.
โTurn around,โ she tells him gently, the order playful and yet firm so that he knows he really did miss a spot and she'd like to help him with it.
After all, they might as well get as clean as possible. Wash away all the blood and the dirt, though she isn't as worried about the dirt. She waits patiently for him to do as he's told, and then she gently starts to use the water to rinse off his back.
Lightening the mood was his primary function in the group. Well, along with turning into ferocious animals that tore their enemies limb from limb along their path toward a cure. His preference was getting the pretty elf to laugh. Such a sweet sound.
"No funny business," he warned with a playful lilt. Turning around, he moved his hair over one shoulder so that she could see everything. "Alright. Some funny business as long as you're tasteful about it."
@lcftyambiticns sent: you were supposed to be leading us out , not further back in ! ( x )
Mouth twitched in annoyance as the wizard voiced his displeasure. And not for the first time. Given his experience in the wilderness, you'd think Gareth earned some goodwill. Suppose goodwill didn't have much weight in the eyes of the GREAT LORROAKAN. The tiefling was moments away from testing just how great Lorroakan was. He had several methods in mind, each involving varying levels of physical aggression.
"I'm keeping us from wandering around in circles and out of the path of the region's predators. However, if you'd like to risk it alone, I wouldn't complain." Would any of them? "Take great care to avoid the owlbear. Insanely aggressive creatures. Never been known to be very picky regarding their meals."
He did an obvious once-over of his companion. "What would you say? Maybe ten minutes max for an owlbear to gobble you up if you were its meal? More if it shares with the offspring."
@calamitism sent. we're going around in circles , we are lost . ( from kore )
His correction came without a moment of hesitation. "You are lost." While he may not know exactly where they were, their surroundings were clear to him. Every tree, every bush, different. He knew them all. Well enough to know they'd passed the same ones thrice over.
"I am following your lead, after all. Have yet to hear you ask me for directions." He laughed and shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe we should try to find a path so you can catch your bearings."
Eve knows that part of her need to stay at least rinsed off, is her mother's influence even from here. She was Elven royalty before meeting Eve's father and falling desperately in love with him, and regardless of raising her children in the forest in a druid circle, she believed that being the wife of an Archdruid meant staying presentable: and she raised her children thus.
She's pulled out of her thoughts by his smirk, however, and she moves her hand to cup some water and splash him with it. His playfulness is appreciated, especially after having to cut Goblins down not too long ago. It's endearing that he is able to be like this, and she taps his nose with a wet finger.
It was Gareth's time spent in cities and adventuring groups that influenced his cleanliness. Such a strict culture around the appearance of not only oneself but one another had rubbed off on him. He never minded being a little dirty, after all, he'd been raised in nature where you couldn't go all that long without getting dirtied up. However, he found a simple pleasure in washing away grime. So he'd kept up the practice.
Seems that a habit of cleanliness could put a person into inviting situations.
He barely got his hand up in time to shield his face from the water. "I was never the best with magic words. Playful action had always been my forte." Though it wasn't like he was without some home training. "Please. Honor my one request."
As much as she tries not to let it show, there is relief that hits Alfira as the news is delivered to her. "Oh," Her shoulders sag ever so slightly, and she nods her head gently.
"Thank you," She expresses. "I'm sorry for the caution. It's... hard to roam the grove when it's become so evident that our welcome has gone sour. I don't wish to provoke any further tension." It's why she found herself at this cliffside more often, the longer they stay camped within the grounds.
Her gaze drops low as the tiefling takes a seat on the ground in front of her, her smile softening somewhat.
"I realize you probably meant that as a compliment. I think any other bard would be more offended at being called only 'half-decent'," She manages a to joke before her head shakes. "You're right though. It's not finished yet. It's been... a struggle, to get just right."
"This circle is in disarray. Even I had difficulty roaming freely when I first stepped into the grove. We druids aren't commonly so antagonistic to groups in need. I'm concerned that the lack of tieflings in this circle has allowed misconception of our kind to run rampant." Somewhat of an enditement on their missing first druid. He could hardly see why the absence of their Archdruid should cause such a level of disharmony.
Though, he doubted this minstrel would care about druid politics.
"I meant no offense, of course, but I can hardly give a more adequate compliment when all I've heard is your rehearsal," he defended. "Perhaps once your song has been fully written, you'll give me a proper performance? Is there a reason you find yourself unable to complete your song?"
โIt's less music and poetry, and more trying not to blow up.โ

She's not quite sure how she failed to notice her new audience of one, but she straightens up in surprise, regardless. Despite the horns on his head, he's not any tiefling that she recognizes ...but the talk of squirrels and particular armor on his form have Alfira concerned for a moment if he's one of the grove's druids.
"It's a good thing that I wasn't playing for them then," She manages some semblance of a grin, although her caution is still evident. "I was just playing for..."
Lihala? No, not when she's so far from completion in her song still...
"...myself, I suppose," She continues on, a slight shrug.
Sorrow stabbed at his heart when he noticed the level of warriness in her otherwise pretty smile. Other races could be wary of him due to his heritage but usually calm down when learning of his druidic nature. But for a fellow tiefling to be so uneasy with him because he was a druid was a new displeasure. The actions of this grove would leave a lasting negative impression on this group of refugees.
"Please, relax. I'm not a druid of this circle; you are under no threat of mistreatment from me."
His hand gestured toward her instrument. "Besides, I've always been fond of anyone who could strum a half-decent tune." Dropping down to the ground, he sat cross-legged, leaning back on his palm. "Though your song didn't sound finished. I apologize if I interrupted your process."

"I don't need to be reminded of our hitchhikers. Each time it's brought up, I feel it swimming just behind my eye." A reminder that he, who is so attuned to the natural world around him, has been invaded by such an unnatural being. Made him need a drink all the more. "Every pained sensation also twists my stomach."
milky hues glimpse his way , remaining silent as nimble fingers raise to smear at the gore on one of her horns . examining it , she realizes he was in fact not jesting . she hadn't noticed anymore , the stench comforting her in a way . is this what people meant when they said smell could trigger memories ? perhaps , a morbid part of her reveled in it & that that very same part of herself was the one who disregarded such a lack of cleanliness .
her shoulders sag in defeat , acutely aware of how her presence unnerves her companion . the way she stalks about on some starry nights , blade in hand & eyes crazed doing anything but remedying her reputation . she grows sheepish , letting out a soft sigh . โ sorry โ i must've missed it . โ
a brow raises in amusement despite herself at his last remark , a chuckle escaping berry stained lips . โ hm , it's a good idea but that might prevent us from entering a lot of places though , don't you think ? two tieflings stand out as it is . โ she rummages around in her sack for a rag prior to lowering her head , extending the dirtied thing in his direction . โ . . . want to help me out here ? โ
laughter was a glorious song , certainly the simplest way to bring comfort to the nervous druid. no matter how unsettling his fellow tiefling could be on occasion laughter could melt all of that away in near an instant, merriment was a powerful cure indeed. granted, not as potent as a well made healing potion but that was all about the physical.
eyebrows lifted and eyes widened in surprise when she asked him for his assistance. might seem like a small gesture, but he'd always found that allowing anyone to freely fondle around your horns was an act of trust, if nothing else. their gang could use small trust-building exercises now and then. โ throw in karlach and we can't go anywhere without a dozen terrified glances, โ he joked while going into his own sack in search of water. when he found it, he gave the rag she offered a fair douse.
โ i might need to . . . adjust you, โ he warned. always smart to warn someone before you tugged them around by the horns unless you had a special relationship. sad to say, he didn't think they were there yet.
โMust you always be so intense?โ A genuine question. While there was a time to be serious or even downright severe, it was the druid's belief that all people needed downtime. A playful side. Given their circumstances they needed each second of joy that could be found.
Few of those moments were present. Each was all too fleeting.
โAre you the sort who can only loosen up when there is alcohol involved? I'm sure that I have something that at least passes for alcohol.โ
โAll I did was merely take a peak. Nothing more than a moment of morbid curiosity that needed to be sated.โ
With any ounce of luck the woman would fail to question why he even plucked the book off of the shelf of the abandoned room they'd combed through. As the cover clearly betrayed the lustful nature of the pages inside.
Being around other Tieflings was most commonly a blessing. Whatever stigma surrounded their shared nature hardly mattered in the presence of one another. It was a breath of fresh air to meet someone who wouldn't immediately have second thoughts about you based merely on how you were born.
Same could not be said with Arabella. At times, she could be quite . . . unsettling. He pretended that wasn't the case. Played any tension off. All the same, it was there.
โThose specks of blood on your horns? I'm hoping you just missed it when you were getting cleaned up instead of leaving it as decoration. Not that I'm judging one way or another; it would be quite the intimidation tactic.โ
The Tiefling had been caught indulging in one of his oddest quirks - venting to the trees about whatever ailed him. It shouldn't be weird to consider the possibility that a druid would speak to the wild about things. However, he supposed the imagery of holding a conversation with an animal was more palatable than doing so with a cedar or an oak. To be honest, he too would rather converse with an animal for they spoke back.
But all he could find were squirrels who had more a tendency to interrupt your story versus allowing one to prattle on too long. And he already had enough travel mates that were willing to interrupt someone when they spoke.
โI'd appreciate you not juding me too harshly right now.โ
โEspecially given that you're interrupting a private conversation right now.โ Figuring that this necessitated some sort of explanation, he continued. โTrees are fantastic listeners; you can lay all your qualms on them, and they stand as your resolute supporters. Sure, it's a one-way sorta dynamic. But there is little harm in sharing secrets with them; they share with one another through their roots but won't breathe a word to more verbal beings.โ
