"I'm just Harry." The young wizard insisted, glancing the other's way and raising an eyebrow at them. It wasn't like he had heard that before, but he constantly seemed to be surprising people; he just didn't know if that was a good thing or not. "I'm just Harry, but people tend to prefer the chosen one- even if he doesn't exist."

He's being bitter- Harry is fully aware that he should be thankful for what he has. "But thank you I- Sometimes it's nice to be reminded I'm more than that."

Harry let out a small hum, his arm wrapping around Nim and resting his chin on the top of her head gently- a protective embrace but still one that he employed when he was feeling particularly protective; he had no idea exactly what brought this on but he didn't really question it. "But I mean, we do have magic- I..." Harry used his free hand to pull out his wand, "I guess I could have Hermione teach me the charm to make the couch bigger?"

Alistair grimaced, and decided to choose his words very carefully afterwards. "Are you… are you entirely certain that's the case? I've always thought magic is pretty interested, especially when you can use it for something fun like… like fireworks or stirring your own tea. Obviously something like blood magic is a little different - " Aaaaaand that's definitely not the route Nimue was going, and Alistair could handle that.

But he was Alistair, and honestly how was he supposed to resist truly being himself whenever the time came? "Then again," he continued with a wry smirk as he looked directly at her, "I guess you can be any of these things and still manage to be a complete and utter dork. How would I know? You would know best, wouldn't you?"

Arms crossed his arms as he waited in anticipation for exactly how she was going to respond to his definitive teasing.

            "IF YOU'RE GOING to bother me with your gaze, you might as well order me a drink, first." the other might have just been zoning out, but the tavern was quiet and the ale hardly a proper company. so alina took the chance to DISTURB the one near to her; a coy smile coming to play along her expression. she didn't truly care about being looked upon in the end, but if she could worm out a free beverage through false offense, she'd give it a go.

"nimue." astarion approached his companion as she readied for bed. the band had settled their selves into a comfortable nook that seemed safe enough from the never-ending dangers of the underdark. and while he found the glittering boulders and strange plants to be quite interesting, but he wanted to get out of this strange place as quick as possible. not only was it full of hostile creatures and deadly spores, but he was also already starting to miss the feeling of the sun. who knew how much longer he had with it? "you know i wouldn't ask this of you if i had other options," he started. "i'm ..." astarion hesitated. "i'm quite hungry. and this place isn't exactly safe hunting grounds for me ... if i don't eat, i'll start to grow feral. and eventually, i won't be able to control myself."
