Sometimes her sprints last for like 4 or 5 seconds and she can shoot herself off the couch or into a wall if she gets a grip with her back claws. If she does it next to a wall, her head smacking into it sounds like someone is trying to break into the house. She doesn't wake up.

Later in the dream she injured her paw and was limping, and earlier she caught something and ate it.

Israel's attacks have been relentless since the eve of Eid al-Adha on Tuesday, May 26. Just yesterday the head of anesthesia at Al-Yafa Medical Hospital was killed in an attack that injured three others. Over 50% of hospitals in Gaza are nonfunctional. Even when Palestinians survive attacks, treatment is limited and medical bills are expensive.

This targeting of healthcare workers and infrastructure is the reason my friend Fadel needs to raise funds for medical evacuation to a hospital outside of Gaza to surgically remove shrapnel that embedded in his body during the Israeli airstrike that destroyed his home while he was inside.

Fadel (@fadel-dani) is currently struggling to afford his hospital bills. He is being treated for severe anemia and malnutrition as a result of long term food insecurity and being unable to afford his monthly medication to treat his blood disorder. He suffers from frequent fainting and collapses unconscious, leaving his family terrified that he has died from starvation. Please help him.

like in general making care work dependent on sentimentality is a fucking bad idea lol, to some extent you can't really prevent the fact that people interacting with one another will probably feel some type of way about each other but esp when you are taking on a role where people depend on you for basic bodily care tasks, necessary medications, proper performance of potentially dangerous procedures &c it's not actually about YOU or your feelings at all & the more you make it into that type of ego trip looking for self satisfaction because youre soooooo self sacrificing and empathetic and you love your patients sooooooooo much -- the less you actually see & think about & serve those patients. never confuse personal fondness for evidence you are doing right by that person -- completely irrelevant & not at all protective against or mutually exclusive of abuse. people who are disliked or dislikable also need care! you signed up to provide it to them. if you cannot do bear to do that and do it fucking well then find a different job

I'm Restarting my Fundraising Post due to new circumstances, please share

Hey all! My name is Phoenix and I'm a white, Jewish (Free Palestine) and Panamanian Latina trans woman and union steward and organizer. I'm married to Olivia (@writeswrongs), the daughter of Salvadoran refugees, a U.S. naturalized citizen, a union organizer, anti-imperialist feminist and writer. We're asking for help today. 

I’ve been struggling to even find low wage entry level restaurant jobs and I have been out of work since mid-March after I got fired at my unionized job for allegedly leaving notes with "migrants welcome" and Jewish and Muslim religious symbols outside the living space of an open white nationalist. The fact that this person is a white nationalist is not being denied by my employer, who is claiming I created a safety risk and violated their equity principles by doing this. Meanwhile in the real world Nazis have repeatedly stalked me and my parents and spent years harassing our neighborhood with public rallies and calling for my and my wife's peoples to be exterminated by force. I am in the middle of a union grievance process with that employer to return to that job and/or receive backpay.

Because I've been out of work, there's been additional financial stress on our household. We hope to soon be a two person income home again very soon but we will need your help with rent and grocery costs. My wife hasn't been able to afford meals at work where she serves as a health assistant for homeless and low income people. We also recently were contacted to foster a new family member who was taken into the care of the state. This has been a very exciting and new process for us and we hope to soon be on our feet to support ourselves and my new sibling. She is being placed with us next week.

Please, if you can share this post, a multiracial queer couple dedicated to serving their community through direct service, union + tenant organizing and socialist political struggle will be able to maintain their housing as we transition into a new and exciting phase of our lives.

Rent is due by June 4th, 2026 and we are behind on our phone bill and the prior month’s split-in-two rent payment. My wife's check otherwise won't be able to cover rent and all our other expenses, and we wouldn't be able to afford groceries.
