Sometimes i think about young Julian and Emma being separated after the Dark War, Emma going off to the Academy and Julian staying with his siblings in LA. Emma is still collecting information and working to find out who killed her parents. They both still write to each other and Julian is Julian when he writes to Emma and she has no reason to think he has changed until Emma and her best friend Cristina come to the LA institute for travel year and she senses something very very wrong with Julian and strive to figure out what it is. Emma being genuinely afraid of Julian, who is now hardened and ruthless except with his family. Emma having to regain his and the Blackthorns' trust. Secrets. Angst. man WE COULD HAVE HAD IT ALL.

One thing that I can't stop thinking about is Malcolm's relationship with the Blackthorns and how much it affected them. Like they were used to him babysitting Tavvy, if I remember correctly he was the one tha taught Julian how to shave, he had movie nights and family dinners with them. The kids LOVED him and he broke their hearts and trust.

I wonder how that will affect Drusilla in TWP and if he was the one that made it so she wound't remember her time in faerie, maybe at Arthur's request.

I keep going back to the line that he hated them even while pretendig to love them, because Annabel looked so much like Livvy and Dru and it's just AAAAHAHAAAHAAAAHAHAHSHHAHSHDGJAAJ!!!!

That means Julian has read books about autism, right? I need to know how he reacted. Imagine having to raise so many children being so young, and one of them is different, but you're prohibited from looking for any help, so you really don't know what you should do.
