Growing up fat, you get made fun of for everything you do, even basic shit like eating and laughing and breathing are funny when you do it because youre fat! And its so hard to not carry that with you as you get older, like I’m still embarassed to eat or dance in front of people or smile in pictures and its ridiculous and I hate it and I wish I was treated with more humanity

Favourite thing about being LGBT:

As a member of the wider LGBT community, I love being a part of such an amazingly creative, kind, supportive group of people, with so many incredible people in our ranks. When it comes to specifically being bi, I love that I can love with no restrictions. I love how people of all genders are beautiful inside and out, and that I’ve been given the opportunity to appreciate and understand that.

Advice for young LGBT people:

Be yourself. Yes, that means being honest with yourself and true to yourself, and expressing yourself in whatever way you wish, but it also means that there’s no right or wrong way of doing it. There’s no set time-frame to come out, there’s no cut-off point for realising you’re LGBTQ+, there’s no rules as to who you should tell first or when or how you should tell them. Your journey as a member of the LGBTQ+ community is unique to you, and you are no more or less queer for how you go about it.
