Who’s the one to wake up the kids?
Matt does it. Emily is too busy with herself in the mornings to worry about anyone else.
Who makes the breakfast?
Matt. Mornings are a stressful time for Emily okay! She always remembers to give them money for lunch though.
Who’s the one to cry for everything?
Matt once more. Emily gets teary-eyed but refuses to cry. She is proud but showing it is another thing entirely.
Who’s the more discipline parent and who’s the more lenient one?
Emily is the more discipline one and Matt is the more lenient one. Though Emily sometimes has to have Matt weigh in because she gets scared she’s being too hard on their kids.

Who helps with the science fair?
Emily. Matt won’t touch his kids homework with a ten foot pool and honestly Emily doesn’t trust him to help their kids.
Who does baby talk?
Matt is the baby talking. Emily will make fun of him every time he does it too. He doesn’t care though.
Who wakes up for midnight feedings?
Emily. She would rather not, but once the baby is up she can’t sleep anyway and Matt sleeps like the dead so trying to get him to do it is basically useless.
Who’s the one who always worries?
Emily. More if she’s doing things right than over her kids. But she worries about the kids too. She gets a bit too stressed sometimes.
Who picks up the kids early from school for some fun?
Matt tried once, but Emily would not let him. If there is one thing she will not sacrifice it is her children’s education. They can do fun stuff on vacation.
Who’s the competitive parent?
Both. Not to the point where they have to stop playing games with their kids, but to the point that the whole family has a competitive streak now.
Who kisses the ouchies?
Matt. Emily treats them the way you are supposed to and says kissing them could just spread more germs.
Who’s a sucker for the puppy eyes?
Matt. Emily hang tough against it. Matt though falls for it every time. Their kids play him like a flute.
Who makes the “dad jokes”?
Neither really does. The one who comes closest though is Matt.
Who embarrasses the kids for fun?
Again neither. Emily does it by mistake every so often, but that’s never really fun for her.
Who’s the over protective one?
Both. Matt and Emily would go to war for their kids. They are even scarier together than separately.
Who’s the “take a sweater!” parent?
Emily. Matt will forget his own coat so Emily usually has to remind all of them to bundle up.
