Fanfic update

Hey! If you're a reader of my fics on Ao3 or you came here from my tiktok wondering why I haven't been active, this post is for you.

Glass Rainbow, my wip bkdk agere fic is not my focus at the moment, nor is really any of my social medias. I know there were quite a few people reading GR and who have been hopefully expecting an update soon but I'm afraid it probably won't be coming this month.

Where have I been?

I haven't been fixated on MHA nearly enough for me to retain motivation for that fic. My most passionate interests tend to cycle, and MHA hasn't been on my mind at all the last few months. I'm pleased with how the story has gone so far, and I'm glad about how much I've been able to write for it, but I really just don't want to work on it at the moment.

My life has also just been going in a few new directions that have taken up my time and drifted my interest off fandom, for example getting another job and a partner I live fairly close to and who I positively adore.

I appreciate all of the supportive comments left on Glass Rainbow, my art around it and my videos based on it. If you have been reading the fic, I apologise for not being able to retain my schedule!

Will Glass Rainbow be left unfinished permanently?

I can't really give a definite answer to this, however I'd optimistically say no! As I said, my reason for lacking updates is just a waning interest in MHA, and not because I feel dissatisfied with my own writing. If my fixation on MHA returns, it's likely I will be able to knock a new chapter out. However for the time being, don't get your hopes up.
