from what ive seen it looks like the danny phantom comic is a good blend of fanon ideas and the show’s original tone and so is exactly what id realistically want from a reboot—a little more serious lore and emotional sincerity and consistency, but not forgetting the original characters and humor. i love fanon dp ideas for a reboot, but a problem i tend to have is that risk of losing the original show’s charm because so many fans have kinda just thrown the original away as if it’s bad.

Did you know that Garfield is a prince? After the death of his parents, Garfield finds refuge with the local tribe. Using his powers, he is able to find the needed medicine to heal the Tribe’s King. To express his graditude, the King adopted Garfield and made him the prince of the tribe. Gar did not like the responsibility of being a prince, so instead he lived on his own. But the King would always consider Gar to be his son.

My thought process was simple

I wanted to show Raven carring and concern about Gar and Beast Boy being stupidly stubborn not to ask for help, because he doesn't want to be a burden especially for Raven.

Also the other goal was to draw long-haired Raven.
