Rules & Verses for Mobile:
Having had these requested for my Finn account, I thought I should go ahead and make some mobile-accessible rules/verses for the rest of my accounts too, so here are Leia’s! Note that while I don’t change my rules much (or basically ever lol) the VERSES information here is definitely not going to be up-to-date because I am forever making new aus…but here’s a start, at least, to give you something to explore until you get back to your computers!
Mun is named Nicky and is well over 21. Muse’s age will vary. Multi-ship and multi-verse.
RULES:
Following and Mututals:
This is a sideblog of nickyrp and as such cannot follow back.
We do not need to be mutuals to send memes or starters. Feel free to throw things like that at me at any time even if we’ve never played or plotted before. If I’m not interested or just too busy etc I promise I will let you know politely and not just leave you hanging!
If you want to play please send me a message or toss me a starter; I’m bad at paying attention to my follower count and probably didn’t notice your subtle arrival! Or thought you wanted to lurk idk. Say hi!
If you are a multimuse with a lot of characters or a lot of fandoms all on one url, I may not follow you because that tends to be overwhelming for me. It’s nothing personal nor a comment on your writing style; it’s just more than I can easily keep track of, myself. (That’s why mine are all on their own sideblogs.)
If I can’t read your blog (small text, low-contrast colors, etc) I will not interact with your character. I don’t have the best eyes and straining to read sucks all the fun out of rp. If you need any of my formatting or color choices adjusted for your own ease of accessibility please let me know! I will do so happily.
You can reblog any of my shit (headcanons, graphics, verses, meta, whatever) even if you’re a personal blog, I don’t care; it’s all one fandom imo. That said please don’t reblog my interaction threads with other people because most rp-ers do not like their things reblogged and I want to respect that. If I reblog anything of yours you do not want reblogged just let me know and I will delete it; I promise it’s just because I thought the thing was cool and got excited!
Interactions:
I am always up for trying new things so if you have a crazy idea, please hit me up! I promise I rarely disintegrate anyone.
I am happily open to interacting with Original Characters (potentially even including OC children or grandchildren of Leia). I need to know who your character is though, so if you don’t have a bio or background I can find on your blog I’m not going to be interested.
I will also happily write with Rey or Finn blogs who interpret their characters (or have verses for their characters) as members of the Skywalker family: Leia’s children, niblings, adopted kids, etc.
I will not write smut with anyone under the age of eighteen.
If I ever do something that upsets or confuses or offends you, please let me know. It probably wasn’t intentional and I always want to be called out on problematic behavior because how else can I learn to do better? I promise to react apologetically, not defensively.
Formatting:
I’m a visual person so I like icons and gifs and will almost always incorporate them. If you don’t want to use images that’s cool with me, but I majored in comic book art so I enjoy the marriage of words with images. I should further admit that interactions with visuals do tend to keep me more excited than plain ones – I’m shallow!
I’m not a big fan of fancy formatting. I don’t mind if you use it but I don’t. Feel free to adjust my formatting to suit your aesthetic if that makes you more comfortable, but I’ll likely keep mine simple.
If you need any triggers tagged message me and I’ll do so gladly.
I am extremely uncomfortable with reylo due to the fact that I interpreted Rey as being analogous to Jaina Solo within the opening minutes of TFA. If you play either Kylo Ren or Rey and enjoy that ship, I ask that you not reference it in any interactions with my Leia, and furthermore that you tag it so that I can blacklist. Thank you!
Canon & AUs:
I grew up on the original Star Wars EU and my interpretation of Leia is predominantly influenced by that canon. However, I am happy to play her in both New Canon and in Legends EU Canon verses – just let me know which you want! If you don’t indicate verse/time on a meme or starter, I will pick whatever strikes my fancy so please indicate where you want to play if you have a preference!
I have as of yet read very little of the expanded universe materials for the New Canon (a few comics, the Thrawn novel, etc). As such, my understanding of galactic events and character histories will be lacking in supplemental canon information. Please never hesitate to inform me of any details relevant to your character or any ongoing/burgeoning threads. I appreciate that assistance!
As far as the Legends EU goes, I have read most of the old novels (excepting NJO period) and many of the Dark Horse comics but that is a lot of material and I do not promise to remember everything. Please let me know if I make a mistake or assumption you do not agree with; I promise I will not be offended!
I also love making AUs whether canon-divergence or totally off-the-wall so please don’t hesitate to throw new verses my way! I love both plotting and winging-it when building new worlds, so don’t be shy!
Characters Relationships & Shipping:
Platonic Ships: Leia can be brusque and she will always prioritize the Rebellion (or Resistance) over her own feelings, but she has a heart as big as the galaxy. I want to build friendships and alliances throughout her time as Senator, Rebel, Princess, Chief of State, Jedi, General, etc. I also look forward to interactions with her family and children, and with the younger generations of Rebel and New Republic and Resistance forces she will fight alongside. Leia has a habit of collecting disaster-prone individuals after all! Please bring me all and sundry.
OTPs: While Han/Leia is probably the first OTP I ever had, I am open to exploring other ships with Leia and to writing interactions with Han-blogs in verses where they are not together. In most interactions set post-ESB I will likely default to writing Leia as though she is in a relationship with Han (unless you are a Han-blog and would prefer not to ship) so if you would prefer otherwise, let me know ahead of time!
NOTPs: No teacher/student, adult/minor, or incestuous ships, please. (Mild flirtations between the Skywalker Twins before they know they’re twins are okay though.)
One-Way Ships: I will never force a ship on you. I expect the same courtesy in return. That said, you are more than welcome to have your character express unrequited romantic feelings toward mine. If it ever ends up crossing the edges of my comfort zone I’ll let you know!
Main Faceclaim: Carrie Fisher [child: Raffey Cassidy]

VERSES
Please know up-front that my interpretation of Leia Organa-Solo is predominantly informed by her characterization in Legends EU canon, although I am a big fan of AUs and canon-divergance and am always happy to play both Sequel Trilogy and non-canon threads; she just may act differently than how you expect.
Additionally if you don’t see something here that looks like your cup of caf, know that I am always happy to plot out a new verse or variation!
If you wish to know more about this Leia, you can read a summarized bio HERE.
Original Trilogy Verses:
Alderaan’s Princess: The young daughter of Bail and Breha Organa of Alderaan, Leia, is kept close to home for her own safety, although she does now know the secrets that threaten her. In between diplomacy training she spends her time causing trouble and exploring the woods near the palace. She is precociously insightful, able to see through the façads people wear and to tell when she is being lied to. She is terrible at holding her tongue. (19BBY - 2BBY)
Queen’s Shadow (AU?): Leia doesn’t remember Padmé. She thinks she does, but the woman she remembers is Sabé, her birth mother’s loyal handmaiden and best friend who came to Alderaan in the early days of the Empire’s rise. In addition to helping Bail and Breha form the beginning of the Rebellion, Sabé did her best to honor Padmé’s memory by helping to raise her daughter. Leia was too young when Sabé died (or disappeared; she never did get the full story from her parents and “when you’re older” never came to pass) to remember much, just an impression of someone “kind but sad.” (19BBY - 9BBY)
It’s A Trap!: At the age of ten, Leia is kidnapped from her peaceful home and spirited away across the galaxy to be bait for former Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. With some reluctance, Kenobi agrees to rescue her, falling into the trap and very quickly forming a bond of mutual affection with the child of his former padawan while he struggles to keep them both alive and get Leia home. (9BBY)
Wish I Could Say I Was (AU): After rescuing Leia from her kidnappers and escaping the Empire’s trap, Obi-Wan decides that it is too risky to return Leia to her parents on Alderaan. Instead he takes her and Luke both into hiding with him, intending to train the children in the Force while protecting them from Vader and anything else that might threaten them. Posing as their father, he reveals some of the secrets of the twins’ past while keeping others carefully shrouded behind a “certain point of view” for their own good…and his own. (9BBY - ?)
Rebel Princess: The daughter of Bail and Breha Organa was raised to thrive in the political arena – but she was also raised to rebellion. Trained in public speaking, strategy, and blaster combat alike, she uses every skill and strength at her disposal on behalf of the Rebel Alliance. Leia will fight the Empire with everything she has, no matter what –or whom– she has to sacrifice along the way. (2BBY - 5ABY)
Twins Switched (AU): Leia Skywalker was raised on Tatooine by her moisture-farming aunt and uncle, but she always dreamed of the stars. When an astromech brought her a message from a handsome prince, she followed a crazy old man and a pair of smugglers out into the galaxy at last. With her father’s lightsaber in hand, she blew-up a Death Star and set out to master the Force and restore freedom to the galaxy. Little does she know that there are secrets waiting in her future that will shake everything she believes about herself and her family. (0BBY - ?)
Daughter of Vader (AU): The Force was always strong in Leia – and when Darth Vader felt it in the young Alderaanian princess, he recognized it. Palpatine’s explanations for how Padmé’s child could have survived were lacking, but Vader was patient; he waited until his young apprentice had come fully into her power before he unleashed his rage and overthrew his deceitful master in favor of his ruthless daughter. Now the Imperial Throne is hers, and the galaxy trembles beneath the boot of the new Dark Lady of the Sith. Leia’s power is unlimited – so why does she keep dreaming about empty sand, and the threat it hides…? (9BBY - ?)
Her Father’s Keeper (AU): Leia was fifteen when Darth Vader discovered that she was Anakin Skywalker’s daughter. His fury at Palpatine’s deception – and the speed with which he struck – caught the emperor off-guard, and suddenly the apprentice was the master. But he had made so many mistakes. (Nor did he, frankly, have any interest in the minutia of governing.) But his daughter – Padmé’s daughter – was a junior senator. She would know what to do, what to tell him to do. He gifted teenage Leia the Empire on a plate of blood, and the burgeoning young Rebel was pragmatic enough to hide her horror in favor of fixing things. Now she has a devoted Dark Lord on a leash and near-ultimate power…but the other Imperial governors aren’t pleased, and if she dissolves the Empire she loses her leash on them. Leia is playing a dangerous game, all the moreso because she knows that her “father” could turn and kill her at any moment. But this is her chance to save the galaxy and she won’t run from it. (14BBY - ?)
Hero of Yavin (ANH AU): When both Gold and Red Squadrons failed to destroy the Death Star, General Dodonna forced Leia into an old Y-Wing, telling her that she had to live to rally support for a new Rebellion. Instead of fleeing, Leia gave into temptation –or maybe just to anger– and dove into the Death Star’s Trench herself. Her damaged snubfighter lacked the targeting computer necessary to make the final shot, but she tried anyway – and succeeded. Ever since, she’s been lauded as the woman who saved the Rebellion…but she’s also been hearing voices in her head that don’t make sense; been able to do things, to feel things, that don’t make sense…like this strange sense of connection to Darth Vader. (0BBY - ?)
There Is Another (ESB AU): The death of Luke Skywalker in the frozen wastes of Hoth was a grievous blow both to the Rebellion and to Leia, personally – but that tragedy awakened something within her. Drawn by an unfamiliar voice –and an undeniable compulsion– to the swamp world of Dagobah, Leia discovered and learned to master her own Force skills. Taking Luke’s old lightsaber for her own, she is now the hope of the Jedi in the battle against the Dark Side of the Force – but there are secrets waiting for Leia to discover that may tear apart everything she’s learned, and everything she stands for. (3ABY - ?)
Especially for Sister (ROTJ AU): Luke Skywalker did not survive the destruction of the Second Death Star, although he managed to take both Darth Vader and Emperor Palaptine with him – leaving Leia as the sole Force User of the war, the last heir to the Jedi tradition. With her brother’s Force Ghost to guide her, she struggles to master skills she never wanted and powers she doesn’t trust, but which she knows she must use if she is to defeat the remnants of the evil Galactic Emperor and the growing Dark Side threats she can feel lurking in the not-so-distant future. (4ABY - ?)
Perhaps She Will (ROTJ AU): Luke Skywalker would not turn to the Dark Side, so he was destroyed. The Rebel Alliance survived the disaster at Endor but had to flee, scattered, from the Emperor’s strength and the surprisingly-operational Death Star. The rebels on the Forest Moon were captured, which for Leia meant worse than imprisonment and torture. Her passion for the Rebel Alliance and her anger with Vader for so many atrocities –Alderaan not least among them– were too strong and with no training in the Light to fall back on, she was unable to resist the lure of the Dark Side. (4ABY - ?)
Legends EU Verses:
Forming a Republic: Turning a motley crew of traitors, criminals, and insurgents into a legitimate governing body was almost as difficult as blowing up a Death Star – and nowhere near as satisfying. The unity that had carried the Alliance through Endor fragmented; everyone had their own goals and private ambitions. Mon Mothma managed to hold onto control of the Provisional Council and Ackbar to their military forces, but only barely and not without dissension. Leia struggled to keep the Rebel Alliance from tearing itself apart while simultaneously convincing the rest of the galaxy that these malcontents could be trusted to govern. (4ABY - 6ABY)
Winning the Peace: winning was easy; governing is harder. Liberating Coruscant turned what was still a mere alliance of rebels in the eyes of most of the galaxy into a legitimate government – which brought with it a new host of difficulties. Now they had a capital planet to protect, a budget to balance, a populace to support. Beginning with the Krytos Virus, the infant New Republic faced a deluge of threats and challenges and Leia was right there in the forefront of them all. (6ABY - 9ABY)
The Grand Admiral: There had never been an Imperial strategist like Mitth'raw'nuruodo and with luck, never would be again. No one came closer to destroying the New Republic than Thrawn and had it not been for Leia’s much-detested tie to the late Darth Vader, they have lost everything to his genius. For Leia, accepting the label of “Lady Vader” cut deep, but for the future of both her children and the New Republic she had fought for, she was forced to reconcile with a biological truth she had long pushed-away. (9ABY)
Mother Politician: Leia always respected her parents for how well they balanced their political duties with their familial ones, but it wasn’t until she had children of her own that she understood how hard that must have been. Torn between the demands of her role as a prominent political voice in the New Republic’s burgeoning government and her love for her three children, Leia struggles to reconcile the two most important parts of her life without neglecting either one. (9ABY - 24ABY)
New Jedi Order: –these are the only EU books I have never read; consequently while I am willing to play threads set during this period I will need directionfrom you on the what/when/how/etc– (25 - 29ABY)
Master Jedi: Following her retirement from political life, Leia decided it was time to fully focus on her Jedi training. Wanting to do it properly, she submitted herself as apprentice to Saba Sebatyne..although her position as former head of the New Republic, sister to the Grand Jedi Master, and mentor-like figure to half the Council means that she’s not exactly a normal new apprentice. Fortunately her skills are far from novice either, and she proves as adept a formal student as she has always been an informal one – moreso, in fact, for she can truly focus on the Force for the first time. (35ABY - 38ABY)
Little Boy Lost: The worst darkness of Leia’s life began with what seemed to be a minor political scuffle with the Corellians. It soon turned to all-out civil war, with Leia’s family divided on different sides – none moreso than her son, Jacen, whose fall to the Dark Side nearly took the whole galaxy down with him. Eventually the truth of his crimes became too great to deny and Leia was forced to turn away from her own child, declaring him too lost to save and too great a threat to everything she held dear to be allowed to continue his reign of terror. (40ABY - 41ABY)
Grandmother Leia: The one bright spot to come out of Jacen’s fall was the revelation that she and Han had a granddaughter: Allana Djo Solo. Her death faked and wearing the false name of “Amelia,” the little girl was sent to her grandparents for sake-keeping and training in the Force. While Leia has come to realize that “a galaxy at peace” may never be a reality, Allana’s bright spirits bolster her own and she will do everything she can to give this child a safe haven within a galaxy of strife. (41ABY - ?)
The First Apprentice (AU): Despite her fear of the Dark Side of the Force and her devotion to the Rebel Alliance/New Republic, Leia is convinced to set aside her political duties and let her brother train her in the ways of the Force. She believes that as a Jedi, she will be able to better serve the galaxy in the fight to eradicate the remnants of the Empire and establish a truly fair and just government. Leia soon masters the Force and alongside her brother becomes one of the first Jedi to serve the New Republic. (4ABY - ?)
Sequel Trilogy Verses:
Rebellion Reprise: Seeing the threat of the First Order and recognizing the danger it posed to the galaxy at large, Leia formed a new rebel alliance –the Resistance– when the leaders of the New Republic refused to refused to take what she deemed necessary action. Viewed as extremists, the Resistance was grudgingly tolerated by the New Republic (although several senators and other prominent citizens secretly funneled them supplies and funds) and the small, quasi-military organization initially had little choice but to avoid direct conflict with the First Order. Leia knew it was coming, though, and refused to be unprepared.(28ABY - 33ABY)
Princess General: When the First Order inevitably revealed the true depths of their evil and their ambitions with Starkiller Base, Leia and her small Resistance were ready – but almost hopelessly outnumbered. That had never stopped Leia before, however, and she wasn’t about to let it stop her now, no matter how high the losses. (34ABY - ?)
Evacuation Protocols (TLJ AU): Leia has lived through this before; she knows that sometimes, the only way for a cause to survive is with a sacrifice. When she realizes Poe isn’t going to call off the attack, she sends support fighters to back them up. Destroying the dreadnaught costs, but they do it and there is no disruption to the chain of command. When First Order TIEs chase them; Black Squadron makes a snubfighter assault on the Resistance fleet too costly and Kylo Ren retreats before the bridge is hit. Leia remains in command, and decides to sacrifice her flagship while evacuating all Resistance personnel to the other ships and dispersing them across the galaxy, thus preserving both lives and resources. She then plans to jump the Raddus directly into the heart of a star, leading the First Order ships tracking them to destruction – but her old friend Amilyn Holdo anticipates Leia’s sacrifice and mutinies. Leia wakes up from the stun blast aboard the Anodnye just in time to watch Holdo jump to lightspeed, Snoke’s flagship following. She then sets about gathering her scattered forces and rebuilding the Resistance. (34ABY - ?)
A Mother’s Duty (TROS AU): Leia has always known that her son would die at her hands; it’s a fate she’s been trying to avoid since the last time she wielded a lightsaber all those years ago. But she knows now that there is no saving Kylo Ren – only the galaxy. She’s taught Rey all she knows, but Ben Solo isn’t Rey’s responsibility; he’s hers. Leaving the Resistance in the command of Poe Dameron, Leia takes the new lighsaber she’s been constructing in secret ever since her son fell to the Dark Side and goes to meet him one last time. He falls to her blade like she always knew he would, but Palpatine is too much for her on top of the fight with Ben; Leia prepares to follow her brother into the Force…but the Resistance followed her to Exogol. Rey followed her, and with the help of both Leia and all the Jedi before them, she fulfills her destiny as well and restores peace to the galaxy at last. (35ABY - ?)
Miscellaneous Verses:
The Dark Reborn: On the brink of a peace treaty cementing the Imperial Remnant’s surrender, the Empire attacks with a new emperor at its head: Revan, an ancient Jedi who fell to the Dark Side over 4,000 years ago. The galaxy is out of practice at facing threats like this and Coruscant is only the first planet of many to fall to Revan’s terror. With the Praxeum on Yavin IV under blockade and Luke seven years gone into the Unknown Regions, there aren’t many Jedi to stand against Revan – but there is Leia, and there are her children. Can they defeat a legend? And what will it cost? [READ THE FULL FIC HERE IF DESIRED] *not TOR or Revan novel compliant; Revan needs no gender. (44ABY - ?)
More Coming Soon! like literally as soon as soon as someone asks for or suggests one, I love AUs. Don’t be shy!
