If I could fly
I was cleaning out some of my old wallets and found $12.2 as well as an old Australian bank note. I also found my palm cards from a speech I did in grade 5 so here it is.
Would you like to be soaring in the sky like an eagle? Having the wind slap your face? Landing in a tree? Eating a worm? Anyway, what would you do if you could fly? Well, I'm going to tell you what I would do.
Firstly, I would fly to every country in the world and learn every language. Then I would talk to many people in many different countries and say that we should be kind to each other. Wars are an ugly thing because fighting is a bad thing to do.
Now, If only I could fly, I would try to fly into our solar system and meet aliens. I would also need to bring plenty of oxygen. Maybe one day we could live on a planet and meet other creatures too. I wouldn't mind making new friends even if it did have 20 million eyes, 14 legs, 100 noses, 95 fingers, 19 mouths but don't judge a book by its cover. That means even if they look ugly on the outside, it's what's on the inside that counts.
Back to earth. So maybe I could get on the harbour bridge for free. Maybe I could build houses or units, then they wouldn't need one of those high machines.
Being able to fly may be very useful but there are consequences. For example, I was flying and a branch fell on me. I fell. I could have hurt myself or even broken a bone.
So I might eat bird food and make a nest but I still can't fly and I'm scared of heights. So even if I try, i'll probably not succeed.
