if there was anything he was concerned about in this moment ——— it was the fact this all seemed too easy. things lined up so well, and with ease of access to all this information about this suspect’s whereabouts; he began to become extremely cautious about the situation. his coordinates brought him to a remote location outside of ██████████. the long drive ended up being worth it if it meant bringing the suspect into custody, and questioning him as the team intended to find his motive. the building looks vacant yet like it was still being used for it’s old intention of a business corporate office. the sign was old, broken, with vegitation all around it — but it still lit up. windows were intact like nothing ever happened to it, but the land around it, and the building itself looked worned down from the weather in the recent months.
the only sound that came from anywhere was the sound of ryad’s engine running before he turned it off. the area was desolate despite the few cars that drove by on a distant highway behind the place. bike helmet came off, and rough equipment went on; bullet proof vest, handgun, utility belt, and a few other small things were all the things he thought he’d only need for this person. but of course, he couldn’t forget his designed, and unique gadget ——— the eyenox to help locate this man within the building itself. within a few moments, he made his way into the building without sounds of breaking in, stealth would be his friend in arms as he entered the old building — eyenox on to search for recent footprints.
inside the building was nothing but carnage of what was presumed to be an old corpate office. broken debris, desk, chairs, and computers lined the empty floors where people onced worked, yet somehow most of the stuff seemed somewhat preserved. the operative used the staircase to continue up to the various floors that would be holding the same type of items; broken, dusty or just overgrown items of that old facility that used to stand in this place. why this would be a place of operation was unknown to ryad, but it would be the most unexpected since it was abandoned for so long. it came clear to him that he would not be alone as he got further up into the building. more of the items begant to look untouched by the dust, and vegitation that overgrew the rest of the building. some of the computers and lights were even on ——— functioning as though this building was never left by its users. luckily it was when he entered some of these lit rooms is when he found some footprints … blue ones … nothing recent, but indicating that someone was definitely here. he kept his pistol at the ready, moving in silence as he continued through the floors, looking and following his helmet as it gave the location of where this individual was last seen in the building.
only two more floors above him is where he was last seen.
someone could of seen his as someone very full of himself --- but he'd have to disagree. patiences was key when one wanted to continue like a domino effect. it wasn't hard for him to tell that was a vehicle approaching the building, slowly standing from his chair, and gazing over the vacant yet abundant land as he looked at a black motorcycle slow it's speed to the entrance of the building. he just smiled to himself, walking away as the male got off his bike --- time was of the essence now.
everything had to be perfectly set --- every nail, every breath had to be on point with his plan or else this wouldn't work. but he never held doubt, doubt crippled the mind and when doubtfulness came; a shame of a plan it'd turn to be. the man gathered his things, the other's he had with him who occupied some of the cublicals in the room were called one by one to help set up everything in the matter of seconds. quickly his companions went to work in making sure everything was ready --- they only had so much time before the operative made it to their floor, and he didn't want to waste anymore time than he thought was neccessary. he knew though the jackal would find something to pin point their location upstairs --- but he wanted that. patiences was key after all.
with everything in position; he merely waited sitting at a chair withhis coffee in hand. there wasn't much for him to do other than wait for the presence of the other to show up --- talk a bit --- and proceed with his course of action. oh how he has waited for this day to finally come. he peered off as he watched the last of his men leave the room, but close by as this was merely phase one. when the door swung open though . . . time felt like it froze . . . and he smiled brightly to the man he'd been waiting for all these years. ❛ ❛ would it be oh so stereotypical if i said i had been expecting you operative J A C K A L? my ~ do please come in. make yourself at home. ❜ ❜
