Okay, so some ground rules-

This SHOULD. I hOPE- Be the pinned post in my main blog, as well as all my other side blogs. This will serve as the sorta. Rules/Expectations post! That way I can tap the sign if things start getting a little out of control-

This main post will mostly be rules relating to Me as a Person, my values and such- Reblogs to side blogs and such will be rules specifically about the blogs themselves!

So, first thing's first;

1. NO BIGOTRY-

I love trans people, I love LGBTQ+ as a group, I really approve of whatever makes you happy so long as it isn't worsening the life of others, I'm ace/aro/cis/male myself, and if I see hate around me, I'll point it out. I'll try to spot it if it's subtle, but I'm... clueless, so no promises there-

2. Patience is kindness

I'm.. a bit slow, both when it comes to drawing art and when picking up social cues. I hope I don't turn annoying, but we'll both just end up angry if it comes to that, and I don't want that! Positive vibes-

3. That's.... it! Be nice to one another.

Just treat one another like you're all human, I know it's harder on the internet but like... We can do it, I believe we can. Show kindness to one another; I don't want to have to mediate something going on in my blog...

I know I repost political stuff from time to time, but that's not really an invitation to get into debates with me. I do it mostly as a vent of frustration at the world, not to get caught in a fact-checking arena deathmatch competitive 40v40 or whatever happens in comment sections for that sorta stuff.

This is very good. Just want to add that “not being ready” implies the default is being sexually active or that’s a goal that should be reached. It’s okay to like.. just not want to have sex, it doesn’t necessarily mean you “aren’t ready” and should take steps to “be ready.” Not wanting to be sexually active is good and okay for whatever reason you have.

there’s this thing that happens on this website that’s like the opposite of pissing on the poor and is far better but also still somewhat annoying when you post something where the point is implied and then someone else adds the point you were making in a reblog as though they are like, adding something new and insightful to the post. eg you can post something about a female scientist from the 1800s having her intellect undervalued in her time and someone else is going to add like “that’s so crazy… i think they were treating her this way due to misogyny” and like well yes. i mean… yeah. you got it

One wants society to accept & respect them & their various different needs, which is surely a noble cause, while the other would like to NOT BE IN PAIN EVERY FUCKING DAY, which is just as important but often gets shouted down by non-ill disabled people who only want to talk about disability as a social construct.

If your child "becomes" autistic after hanging out with an autistic person, then they were always autistic. They were drawn to someone who sees the world in a similar way, and being around other similar people made them feel safe being themself instead of being who you want them to be.

We need to talk about how hot guys can be. Male is often seen as the “uglier” sex. Sometimes I see people treating transition to male as some sort of loss in the hot and sexy department. This is not the case.

Just because the loud people don’t find you attractive doesn’t mean you aren’t attractive, no, it just means they have bad taste.
