just finished reading "last human" - i think the last book before this next one comes out? - by doug naylor. and, no spoilers, but the stuff in that was crazier than whatever actually happened in the tv show. i know the books usually have loads of crossover but this one i swear every chapter i was like "that never happened!" and "WHAT"

also, the ending, especially with the thing that happens to rimmer, is MENTAL. i was reading at midnight and i was almost sobbing and screaming in bed like this:

so insane, outrageously so for red dwarf standards. i loved it so muchh. so so so so so good. please read for comedy but also the most devestating thing i've come across from this series </3

just watched the finale of 'Ashes to Ashes'. I fear my life will never be the same. crying, screaming, throwing up, actually can't function, how am i supposed to live knowing The Truth??!?!!?!? i was watching the credits literally sat like:
