Hi guys! It’s been a while since I posted, 2 years?! It’s been an on off relationship with this hobby but I haven’t given up on this hobby!
I just received two kits from my fiance who just recently traveled to Japan. Both are limited edition RG 1/144 Unicorn and Sinanju kits that are Tokyo Diver City exclusive! (ver. TWC). Already excited to build them.

Hello guys! Here is the finished kit that I used for the Gunpla weathering tutorial that I made for FromJapan blog. It’s a Master Grade MSZ-006A1 Zeta Plus Karaba Production Type Transformable Mobile Unit. This model kit’s year of production is 2001, it’s quite old but the model is still interesting to me. This will be my first Master Grade that is transformable into a mobile unit which is the Wave Rider. I personally like the orange and white color theme of this mobile suit.
Things I did:
Regular snap fit assembly.
Panel lining using a mix of enamel paint panel wash and Copic Multiliner.
Applied decals (the decals were pretty old so it was harder to apply)
Sprayed top coat matte using Bosny clear dull spray can.
Applied dry brushing weathering using Tamiya Flat Aluminum.
Applied battle damage using my toothpick method.
Applied some final touches and details on the battle damage using a mix of Tamiya Copper, Black and Flat Aluminum.
Enjoy the photos! Click to open gallery.
Things I like about this kit:
Nice details for an older kit.
Orange and white looks appealing.
Can transform into a mobile unit “Wave Rider” mode.
Things I don’t like about this kit:
It’s a tad cumbersome to transform to the mobile unit. I’ll be leaving him in Wave Rider mode.
Foil stickers for the orange parts of the wings.
Dry transfer decals that are old are a pain to apply.
Just average pose-ability, maybe because of the transformation capability of the kit.
The shield peg to attach to the arm is loose.
That’s it! Thank you for viewing!

Gunpla Topcoating Guide
Hello everyone! It’s been long time since the last update. Been busy with adult life. I have a few backlog Gunpla kits now, hope to build them soon! As for now, here’s another tutorial/guide that I wrote for From Japan. Thank you From Japan for accommodating my article! Always heard about top coat here, top coat there, but have not been able to try it? Maybe because you’re afraid of ruining your…

Hello guys! Sorry for the lack of posts since I’m currently busy with life. Anyways, I attended today the first Philippines international comic con (if I’m not mistaken). It’s the Asia Pop Comic Con 2015. It’s definitely a must see convention! It features some international celebrities, cos-players and other popular icons. The minimum entrance fee is 500php, the lines were very organized compared to other local conventions. You can see some of the event’s details below as I also uploaded some pages of the event guide. You know it’s legit when they provide a comprehensive event guide. Just go there and see for yourself! Last chance tomorrow! :)
Enjoy the photos!

Hello guys, updated my game a little bit:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27586876/unity/Purgatory/Purgatory.7z
– Made it first person, not over the shoulder anymore.
– Improved borders so that people won’t go out of the game area. Hopefully.
– Moved and added some objects to find.
– Changed field of view to 50.
– Improved interaction range to 10 units.
Can you find them all? Challenge your friends!! Maybe I’ll put a timer when I have the time. :)

Purgatory Update Hello guys, updated my game a little bit: - Made it first person, not over the shoulder anymore.
Hello guys! For the past months I have been learning how to make games using the Unity3D game engine. I wanted to be a indie game developer so to start-off I had to learning a game engine and I chose Unity3D because there are a lot of tutorials and resources available around the internet as well as free assets in the asset store. So far, I had lots of fun in using Unity and its becoming another hobby of mine besides Gunpla.
And after a month or so of learning and fiddling around the game engine, I have come up with my first working game. It’s a very simple game and one of the concepts that I learned in developing my first game is that you just have to produce your minimum viable product that you can have people start playing and testing for feedback. Spending too much time on complex mechanics and game assets will eat up a lot of a game developer’s time, especially when he is flying solo.
Anyway, the game’s called Purgatory. I love FPS horror games like Amnesia and FEAR and they are my inspiration in creating the environment for this game. Game mechanics are simple, you just have to find the objects listed on the screen and that’s it! Take note that this game is just the minimum viable product, so keep your expectations low! :p
Here are some screenshots:
#gallery-0-4 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-4 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 100%; } #gallery-0-4 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-4 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
And here is the actual game, I made two builds one for web deployment, one for PC, I recommend playing the PC version. :)
Web Build: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27586876/unity/Purgatory/Purgatory.html
Note: You have to install Unity Web Player if you want to play this game in your browser using the web build, just click on the link and it will prompt you to install Unity Web Player if you still don’t have it. Though recent updates to Chrome browser disabled the Unity Web Player plugin as mentioned here: http://snip.ly/o5AR#http://twiik.net/articles/google-chrome-just-killed-the-unity-web-player, so you have to use Firefox instead or follow the instructions on the article on how to re-enable the Unity Web Player in Chrome.
PC Build: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/27586876/unity/Purgatory/Purgatory.7z
PC Build is easier, just download the 7z file, extract it and run the Purgatory.exe file. :)
Have fun! And feel free to ask questions and comments :D

Hello guys! This is my latest work: a custom painted HGBF 1/144 Amazing Red Warrior from the Build Fighters series. But of-course I will create a new one so that I can post a Gunpla hand-painting tutorial for my own blog.
