Stories of children killed by IDF soldiers, as in there being an altercation and the soldier responds by firing on the kid and kill them
They make me so, so, so incredibly angry
Of course every death of a Palestinian at the hands of an Israeli piece of shit is going...

I watch things like this, instead of writing my paper.
How I feel listening to certain people talk during meetings/life
How I feel about this election, about life.
the world when its 6 am and you havent slept all night
the world when it is 6am and you have just woken up
My entire day today. I have no sleep. I am dying.

Awesome Foreign Word of the Day: Utepils
Utepils (Norwegian): to sit outside on a sunny day and enjoy a beer. For all of us still suffering winter-weather in April, we could use a little utepils … Pronunciation: OOH-ta-pi(l)s
I can get use to Norwegian if it has more words that mean this.

"And suddenly it settled in, a visceral moment of knowing that the molecules in my body, the molecules in the spacecraft, and the molecules in my partners had been prototyped and manufactured in an ancient generation of stars. It was not an intellectual realization, but a deep knowing that was accompanied by a feeling of ecstasy and oneness that I had never experienced in that way before.
In that instant, I knew for certain that what I was seeing was no accident. That it did not occur randomly and without order. That life did not, by accident, arise from the primordial earthly sea. It was as though my awareness reached out to touch the furthest star and I was aware of being an integral part of the entire universe, for one brief instance. Any questions that my curious mind might have had about our progress, about our destiny, about the nature of the universe, suddenly melted away as I experienced that oneness. I could reach out and touch the furthest parts and experience the vast reaches of the universe. It was clear that those tiny pinpoints of light in such brilliant profusion were a unity. They were linked together as part of the whole as they framed and formed a backdrop for this view of planet Earth. I knew we are not alone in this universe, that Earth was one of millions, perhaps billions, of planets like our own with intelligent life, all playing a role in the great creative plan for the evolution of life."

"The United World College in Mostar is home to more than 40 different nationalities. Located in a city still deeply divided by the war in people’s mind, it often is a symbol for a new generation of all Balkan ethnicities. This year UWCiM was holding a Cultural Parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the UWC movement. We all proudly carried our flags through the streets on the Bosnian and the Croatian side of the city. My Serbian friend was walking hand in hand with his Croatian girlfriend. When an old lady asked her how she could dare to walk next to a Serb, she kissed him. This is when I took the picture. It’s nothing special just a couple expressing their love but for us, here in Mostar, it shows that the new generations are not willing to continue a war of minds."
