Say hi to this goodest boy in my new wholesome worldbuilding journey, Gene! He's a lil fella that loves to give emotional support to those in need, while he's just out and about in the dystopian world that he got online into.

Just had to put this out there

I don't normally dive headfirst into a sketch without pencilling it out but I only realized I was using a pencil after I finished drawing the arms so I thought ehh, why not?

Hopper1 is one of my fav Chemies from Kamen Rider Gotchard not necessarily just because she's one half of the primary form, but because characters whose abilities are based on beetles or grasshoppers just bring me joy and it ties into the roots of Kamen Rider as a whole, where the 1971 titular show had the same motif — and because she's just so darn adorable!

Still though, I've no idea how I managed to pull this off, considering I've never drawn her until this artwork

Locked and Loaded.

A phrase that appears in my head with no explanation, context or even in response to a particular stimuli. I can be minding my own business and all of a sudden, "Locked and Loaded." and the mood immediately shifts to be akin to something conveying urgency.

A different narrative that plays out in my head whenever this phrase pops up deliberately while reading or watching something, is the slight urge to click something in place, whether it be dislocating and relocating my own shoulders, or snapping on a LEGO piece.
