A murderer is condemned to death. They have to chose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fire, the second full of highly-trained mercenaries with loaded guns, and the third full of lions who haven’t eaten in a month. Which room is the safest choice?

How do you feel about crossword puzzles?

I believe I've answered this before, but I enjoy them. I do them every morning to help awaken my brain for the day. It's also a nice way to pass the time.

See, the thing is whoever’s doing it… They aren’t doing it efficiently. The thing about your question marks is that, while it can be a tad irksome, there’s always something attached. This perp, whoever it is, left a question mark, but no question. So, what’s the question? And you’re the king of questions. There are three dead bodies, and possibly a fourth.

Honestly, there are too many questions. If we all go chasing after the same one, we might miss the most important questions of all.

Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?

I probably shouldn’t be talking to you. Sends the wrong kind of message. Might get you thinking that if you try anything, I’ll let it slide.

[mask pm] Oh, I was hardly asking for an apology. I anything, consider it a compliment. You're a smart one. Not as smart as me, but you've got common sense that I think some of your compatriots lack at times.

I want this mystery villain found as much as you all do, I imagine. So I can get back to inspiring fear in Gotham as I please, instead of worrying that another botched crime is going to be thrown at my feet.

I don't expect special privelage once this is all over. That takes away the fun of what I do. But please, do admit it.

Certainly, we are at opposite ends of this, as always. However, as you said, I am the king of questions, and there are quite a lot of questions to have answered.

[MASK PM] So, I was right. It wasn't you. Or, rather, if it was you, you're much better at covering your tracks than anyone would ever give you credit for. ... Then who? Who would want to tick you off that bad?

Perhaps it isn't to tick me off so much as get you lot chasing a false trail. A rather shoddy one at that, but not everyone can have my sense of finesse about things. Whoever they are, they're not leaving riddles. Either that means they are doing an extremely poor job at copying my calling card, or they're attempting to establish their own in some similar manner.

Either way, the question still stands of who the hell this is, and I am quite keen on discovering that as well. I can't have my reputation slandered by this petty, half-baked crimes.
