I love you all. God, I really, really love you all. This message terrifies me to type, and the only thing keeping me doing it is that I know it is both the correct and only decision to make here.
I'm leaving STC. I don't know for how long. I'm fairly certain I can come back when everything settles down. I'm going to leave Tim's account up. Those are the facts.
Since coming off my hiatus, I haven't been present. There are myriad reasons we could talk about -- and I'm more than willing to, in private -- but the long and short of it is that I've come to a sort of... understanding that having Tim inactive consistently isn't fair to you, stresses out me, and generally makes for a crap situation all around.
If you want to keep in touch -- which, trust me, I definitely do -- my Skype is zeehuff and my personal Tumblr (which doesn't get a lot of use) is speculativefrictions. I'm also willing to friend anyone on FB that asks me via private message.
Again, I'd like to emphasize that I want to come back -- will come back. But right now, I cannot be around nearly as much as I think you deserve.
Thank you for the friendships, the ups, the laughs, the BGO, and even the downs, the deaths. This has been one of the greatest experiences of my life, and I know I'm a better writer because of my involvement here. And that is all on you guys.

The days are long. Full-time job takes it out of me. I only get some solace on the weekends, which luckily we’re approaching. Yeah, the nights are always nuts. That was standard fare before you left though.

[PM] You haven't. And, believe it or not, that's a good thing. Killing Tim Drake or Red Robin would probably get you netted in some kind of juvenile hall. We've got a vested interest in your, you know, not being there. So, not killing me is good.
I... think that we're all made up of, and made complete by, our pasts. And create our own futures based out of those pasts. Take the costume change. I needed to put away the dark and give myself -- and the city -- some hope. But it was also representative. A reminder to everyone that you can clip me, but I'll jump back. And everything my dad, your father, and all the vigilantes in the city have taught me have let me to that.
So, in part, that's why I think you should talk to Dick, Steph, and Jason. Once you get past the growling stage, you might get something you didn't expect. Human beings are hard to key into. We've got a lot of weird, silly stuff we do for seemingly no reason. We say things that are both more true and less true than we mean. We're complicated. You included.
Don't relax only on your dad's wishes. Make sure you wanna do it. But, well... frankly? You could use it.
And, uh, I know Charlie from her constant posting online. She's... well... hard to miss. I helped her with math about... a month ago? What were you hoping, Damian?
