I think something that people need to remember is that Netflix likes making shows that have about 8 episodes per season. Now keep in mind that the original ATLA had about 20 episodes per season. That means that with each season, Netflix is cramming 20 episodes worth of story in only 7-8 episodes. Don't get me wrong, that is a bad decision on their part, but with that being said, of course the writers are going to rewrite, rearrange, and remove scenes.
Am I the only one enjoying NATLA? I know it's not 100% accurate and I can understand why some fans don't enjoy it. Personally, I just like having new content to watch and I view the show as more of a live action re-telling than a live action adaption.

I can honestly say that as a bill-paying adult with no previous exposure to the fandom who just finished watching ATLA with my husband for the first time, I LEGITIMATELY thought that Zuko and Katara were going to get together. It seemed like that was the direction the show was going and it made the most sense to me story wise. Unfortunately, the ending left me disappointed and dissatisfied.
Can we just talk about how beautiful Yor looks from Loid's POV!? I cannot wait for this panel to be animated!
I'm so glad Yor had the confidence to voice her concern. Loid deserves to know that someone truly cares for him and values him for more than just his work.
Why oh why didn't they keep the original voice cast 🤦♀️ they're literally older and could've easily aged their voices
I cannot wait for the moment when Anya refers to Damian by his name and it's during a high stakes situation like she's being kidnapped by Donovan or something and she calls out to Damian in distress and like the kind-hearted boy we know he is, he'll choose saving Anya over obeying his father and I just cannot wait!
Is anyone else glad that Loid and Yor didn't kiss? The set-up just seemed too predictable. For something as big as their first kiss, I want that moment to develop naturally and not be forced by circumstances.
Yor tugging on Loid's sweater may seem like a small gesture but it's another step forward in development for her! Pre-love-reveal Yor would've never even attempted to touch him!

I would LOVE to have a scene where Bond watches Anya and Damian bickering and then has a vision of them married in the future but Anya doesn't see it cause that night is a full moon!
Do you think Loid will realize his love for Yor and Anya before or after the identity/secret reveal? My thoughts are after, like a classic "didn't know what he had until it was gone" scenario.
