These photos were taken early 2014 in Yogyakarta (Central Java) while I was exploring during a break from my volunteer assignment in Indonesia. Yogyakarta is one of the only places in the world where graffiti is 'legal', and since first visiting for a volunteer forum the year before, painting a graffiti piece in Yogya was added to the top 5 of my bucket list. I managed to find a graffiti store and befriend a local crew known as 'Team Squad'. While in the shop I met another traveller (from Austria) looking to paint. An hour or so later, there we were, painting in the sunshowers opposite a university, while a small crowd gathered to enjoy the entertainment.

I couldn't have asked for anything more. A warm sunny winters day in my home state of Western Australia, an epic gift on a third date; a shot of epinephrine delivered at over 200km/ph in a 60 second free fall, flying through the beautiful blue skies of Jurien Bay, accompanied by two rad dudes from Skydive Jurien Bay (who despite jumping multiple times a day were still pumped for my first jump) at 14,000ft watching the sun set over my favourite place to be; where land meets sea.

My first skydive was the best day EVARrrr! And this is my first attempt at video editing (their video was much better, but it didn't have my anthem)...constructive criticism welcome.

Playing Animals as Leaders & Aphex Twin when I'm meant to be winding down for bed time is NOT a smart move.

Jogya…freaked the fuck out in the taxi to the airport from Renon to Ngurah Rai Airport Denpasar because the taxi went over 50km/ph.

Oh how I’ve changed.

I was also lucky enough (/sarcasm) to listen to people complain about how their assumptions were incorrect, their expectations weren't met, how incompetent management is, how the schedule should have been run, and how ridiculous it was their brothers girlfriend wanted to stay in a upmarket ‘pool view’ room. Ohhh emm gee, how dare she?! 

Seriously over it. Bitching bitches bitch. What a waste of energy. Each to their own. 

If you don't like the situation; accept it, leave it or change it.

New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.

This time I saw through its disguise; I greeted it with excitement, I took it in with a smile, I danced over its pain and gracefully glided into my freedom of happiness as I said goodbye.
