To anyone wondering why fe and si are closer to intp than ne and ti: The best way to explain that is to compare this scenario to the “distracted boyfriend” meme. The boyfriend (intp) is having a loyal girlfriend which is always there for him if he treats her right (si and fe) and yet another woman (ne and ti) catches his eye as she seems more attractive. What i mean to say by comparing those two situations is that se and fi can be very powerful functions, helping the intp much in their daily life if developed properly and given enough attention. Despite that many intps don’t realise it or keep feeding their dom and aux function as that’s basically what their comfort zone is made of.
