Superhero store @formaggiokitchen in Cambridge. Meet our Assistant GM Liz! She grew up in New York eating lots of Italian food, but as the Italian goods importer, she's gotten to try a lot of new delicacies: fregola sarda, a toasted grain-sized pasta; @pariani candied olives, great for cocktails or cheese boards; Modican chocolate, which gets its coarse texture from undissolved sugar crystals; and red pepper mostarda and "profumo del Chianti" herbed salt from Tuscan butcher Dario Cecchini @dariocecchinimacellaio. Her absolute favorite find is jarred chicory shoots from a Puglian vegetable farm--they taste like artichokes! When she's not eating Italian, Liz has a few go-to spices to put on everything: @entube's harissa makes for awesome deviled eggs, furikake is perfect for sushi rice or popcorn, and @epicesdecru's eight-pepper blend perfumes her kitchen every time she uses the pepper grinder.
