It's actually wild how boomers will go "back in my day there were no safeguards on anything and we all had an awesome childhood and turned out Just Fine" and in the 1950s their own parents would just do shit like "yeah we had twins but one of them drowned when they were five so the doctor recommended us to just tell the other one that she never had a sister and that she only imagined it" and casually admit to that decades later like that's completely ok.

Note, I am finding these threads on the twitter feeds of ICU nurses who are now dreading the horrors that Roe falling will bring to their hospitals. This, on top of the horrors that they’ve seen and continue to see because of the pandemic. They were already exhausted and hanging by a thread.
