This applies to everyone!! Not just religious people!! The reason I refer to Christians in particular is because they are one of the major more influential (outspoken) religions/groups (and the example is Christian). This is not meant to be offensive (well, maybe a little bit to certain people) but to make you think about social structure, ideas, ideals and expectations. To all those people who say they're Christian (or any other religion that uses the same bible and God). If there are so many bible passages about loving everyone (this one is just an example) then why do you insist that certain types of people are 'abominations'? Or does 'everyone' only apply to fellow straight, cisgendered Christians? If God made everyone then he made homosexual, bisexual, transgender/sexual, indigenous, caucasian, male, female and (insert all other labels you can think of here) people. So if according to your belief God made everyone and you must love all of God's creation, then doesn't it make sense that everyone should have the same rights as everyone else, some examples would be, marriage, love, the freedom to express yourself through clothing or any other media, the freedom to express emotions (e.g. laughing, talking, crying) and the freedom to make decisions about their own life free from the judgement of others (e.g. abortions) when the decision does not a/effect or involve everyone else. Everyone should also be able to have their own ideas and beliefs without having another's forced on them or forcing their's on another person (unless they have been asked for advice) regardless of religion, sexual orientation, gender, sex (there is a difference between gender and sex), race, spirituality or any other feature (physical or mental) that makes up who you are. For those of you that finished this, thank you for listening to me rant and I apologise if you are Christian and find this stereotypical. A halberd.
An eye crying, a plant growing on a hill, a toucan peaking from behind a tree, a reflection in water, a snowball rolling down a hill past a tree blowing in the wind. Turn the picture to see them.
A parent crying for their dead child. A flower that wilted too soon.
