found everything i need for my mion cosplay at the thrift store except the wig. i initially could only find the wig on aliexpress and i rly try not to buy from questionably ethical sites but after some digging i found the right one from epiccosplay !! otakon gonna be lit and hype basically

i also dont think i can even have a prop gun so i just got a brown bag and maybe ill paint a gun on it or something hmmm

getting my beriod (boy period) in full force for the first time in years. idek why my body just loves to torture me or something. but im hiding all evidence of it from my roommate/friend even tho he knows im trans. it feels so stupid and tedious but its honestly the most dysphoria inducing and embarassing thing arghhhh

went to the party of the friend i am trying to reconnect with even tho i was so tired and felt kinda stupid going to a 4/20 party when i didnt want to smoke. im so glad i did cuz there were other ppl there who didnt smoke too and once i powered thru the initial awkwardness and spoke up people were interested in me and what ive got going on. i even got to talk with someone about homestuck yayyy

her pushing herself so hard to break thru her shell, and just being her true self helping those around her gahhhhhhh

cleared out a super overgrown garden bed and got a whole buncha herbs in the ground! i was nervous cuz i had bought all the plants before starting and i ended up not getting to work until after 5pm, but the sun stayed out just long enough for me to finish up. literally right after going inside to wash up, i went back out to try to take a picture, but it was pitch black all of a sudden ;-;

but now theres valerian, tomatoes, basil, rosemary, catnip, sage, cilantro, and a raspberry bush. oh and marigolds on the porch. I like how the darker marigolds with brown around the petals look but Im not sure how they work for dyeing which might be an eventual goal...

forgot how much i love hardcore shows!!!

talking to one of the guys in the opening band and he was saying how hc bands should just stick to the script and play the same old stuff cuz experimenting with the genre always turns out shit and i was likeee What about Hologram tho and he admitted i got him there. im winning at being a person and having music knowledge.

also bumped into my old friend and got invited to their party! a little nervous cuz im always so awkward when trying to reconnect with someone after a long time but theyre so cool its worth it. also got to spend time with my awesome coworker who invited me out and all her friends were super nice too!!

last summer i had the best tasting juiciest strawberries of my entire life, so i used all my self-control to not eat 2 of them. i used tweezers to pick the seeds off them and saved them.

over the fall i found out 1: i couldve just let the berry decay and get the seeds with less effort that way (but tbh it was pretty satisfying to pick them off), 2: strawberries are pretty difficult to start from seed, and 3: even if the plants were healthy and eventually produced fruit theyre not true-to-seed and the berries wont taste the same ;-;

But! i decided to stratify them anyway over the winter and a week ago 3 or 4 sprouts popped up and this is what it looked like today!!
