@ericbrinley
Eric walked over and pulled the knife out. “I’m Eric, just in case i do hit you one day, you can tell them it’s my fault. Well, at least i didn’t hit you.”
"And let’s hope that you won’t hit me in the future, yeah?" She laughed lightly and shrugged her shoulders. "I’m Kinsley."
"I'll try not to. It'd be hard to hit you with a knife if you're in bed with me." Eric laughed.
Darcy narrowed her eyes at Eric before letting go of what he did earlier, instead choosing to introduce herself. “Darcy, Darcy Edwards.”
Eric smiled, "How are you, then that close call?"
Darcy yelped as something almost came in contact with her nose, her hand flying up to make sure she was okay. Her eyes followed the thrower of whatever had come her way and she shook her head, annoyed. “Jesus christ, we’re supposed to be aiming things at walkers not still living humans.”
Eric rushed over, pulling out his knife from the tree. "I'm so sorry, I was doing some practice throws and i didn't think anyone came out this way, but I guess some have the same ideas as I do. I'm Eric, Eric Brinley."
A Fresh Start
Jessica couldn’t help but let a small chuckled escape her lips as she noticed the scarlet cross his cheeks. “About a week or so. I came in with a small group from downtown. Didn’t think there would still be survivors here but turns others had the same idea.” She raised her shoulders in a slight shrug. “And what about you?”
Eric smiled, "Kinda the same thing but it was just my dad, brother, sister and I who came. I was actually glad to have found other people. I don't know how long I could've lasted with just my family." Eric laughed to himself thinking about all the fighting they had already done.
Letting out a small yelp as she felt a wave of air rushing by her, Kinsley looked over and saw a knife. She looked up and saw a man there, “No, no. You’re alright, it was just an accident.” She said, looking down a bit.
Eric walked over and pulled the knife out. "I'm Eric, just in case i do hit you one day, you can tell them it's my fault. Well, at least i didn't hit you."
"It’s days like this that I— I miss my mom." The petite brunette muttered, resisting the tears that were building.
"So much."
"I know what you mean, it sucks really badly." Eric wiped the girls tears, "Don't cry, love. It's okay." Eric said this asa tear escaped his own eyes.
Blaire never wanted any trouble, really, she preferred sticking to the shadows and isolating herself as opposed to making bonds with complete and utter strangers. The last thing she expected was some object just missing her by the nose, she immediately jumped back, falling to the ground with a loud thud.
"It’s f-fine. I should have b-been paying attention— I’m fine, j-just, uh.. Watch o-out, please." Her voice was shaky, but she at least attempted to be civil, even if he did just almost hit her in the face.
Eric ran over, helping the poor redhead up. "I'm sorry, throwing just helps me keep my temper down and so I thought no one was gonna be around. I'm Eric." Eric felt horrible for almost hurting a beautiful girl as the one in front of him.
After his long run, Eric decided to practice his throwing skills, not paying attention, he threw, almost nicking the innocent bystander in the nose. "I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there."

jessicaxweaver:
Jessica returned the kind boy’s smile and placed her hand in his, before shaking in greeting. She couldn’t remember the last time someone had greeted her in such a formal manner. It was refreshing. “Jessica, Jessica Weaver. It’s nice to meet you Eric.”
Eric smiled, blushing slightly. "How long have you been here?" Eric just wanted to keep a conversation going with this beautiful girl in front of him.
A Fresh Start
Eric sits in one of the chairs and takes a sip from his flask. “So this is our new home? I guess it will do.”
Hannah scrunched her nose, not wanting to be rude, but then said it anyway. “I wouldn’t drink alcohol if I were you, don’t want to be drunk and not able to walk when the zombies come.”
Eric laughed to himself. "Thanks for the tip dear, but it's not alcohol. I don't drink, bad experiences. Trust me, I'll be able to walk or I'll stand and fight if I have to." He smiles at the girl and holds on his hand. "Eric."
A Fresh Start
“Well aren’t you Mr Optimistic. Seems to be a rare trait around here.” She remarked, a faint smile crossing her lips. “But I guess it depends on what people define home to be. And you’re right, this pace isn’t going to last forever, the sooner people begin to realize that the better off they’ll be in the long run.” She shrugged, folding up her map, before stuffing it back into her pocket. “So, got a name there stranger?”
Eric smiles and nods, "I'm Eric. You are?" Eric holds out his hand to the beautiful girl.
Watching Eric pull out his knife, Lana made sure she had hers in her pockets and she slung her bow that was attached to her belt over her shoulder so it was in easy-reach. “True, he’s known for getting into trouble.” She gestured for him to lead the way and followed short behind.
Eric walked quietly, making sure not to make a sound. Stopping when he hears noises around the corner on his left, he waved lana forward to check it out while he pulled out his other knife.
Eric laughs and chases after her until they come to a dead end somewhere far off from everyone else. “Where are we Lana?”
Lana hesitated, trying to figure out an answer to his question. “Uhh… I don’t know?” She hated saying she didn’t know something, but the mall was too dark and it was too unfamiliar to her - she had no idea where they were. “Wow, we’re really good at getting lost, huh.”
Eric pulled out his knife and started off to their left. "Come on, we gotta get back before Edwin gets in some sort of trouble." Eric was internally beating himself up for getting them lost already within in the mall, but he'd find their way back. He knew it.
okay-lana:
Elana gasped dramatically, laughing at his stupid names. “Hey, not nice.” She shoved him, flipping him off and speeding up. “You’re such an ass.”
Eric laughs and chases after her until they come to a dead end somewhere far off from everyone else. "Where are we Lana?"
Ashlyn stepped out of the shadows holding her phone up in the air. She stomped her foot on the ground in frustration, “I can’t believe I can’t even contact my parents.”
Eric saw the girl continuously trying to get cell phone service, even he knew there wasn't going to be any. "I don't think a phones going to work, my dear."
