Hey man, hope you are well. I found this really nice singer, gives me the same sort of vibes India does with her music. I don't know him personally, but I've been watching his grind for over a year. Could I share the music with you?
Yeah that's cool.
:)
I've been producing for 1 year, 11 months, and 1 day. What should I do in the next 3 years to get to the level I want to be at?
Practice as much as you can, learn music theory, learn more about mixing, recording, etc. Definitely focus on mastering the software you use.
How many FLPs did you have on your computer & how old were you when you decided to commit to producing and step your game up? Did you play musical instruments growing up?
A lot. 15. I can play the guitar and piano at a intermediate level.
How long did it take you to start banging out beats & when did you drop FL and move on to other programs?
About 5 years. I moved from FL Studio to Pro Tools when I was 21.
What made you want to start making beats?
I use to rap and soundclick wasn't as popular back then.
When was the first time you made a beat on the computer? how old were you?
I was about 15 years old and I made my 1st beat on FL Studio.

Stoop Kids
As of yesterday we have officially started working on Stoop Kids.
How do you sample vocals? Or any song.
I chop the parts I like and then I pitched them down or up, maybe add reverbs or delays or filter depending on how I feel about it.
How to do you mix your drums?
I keep the main instruments (synths, pads, leads, piano, etc) under -12b And drums and percussion under -6db and I use that technique as a starting point, I might go louder but for the most I'll try to keep it around those dbs. By doing that I have enough room for the drums to knock without processing them as much.
