We're looking for folks to make 5x7" postcard art to raise money for The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights.
We have two themes and you can do one, the other, or both:
FANART VERSION: "Another World/Time". Grab a template and send your fave OFMD characters to another place, real or not, as long as it's not in the here and now. Alien worlds, an 1800s train, Middle Earth, you decide—let's get weird with it!
NON-FANART VERSION: Home! Whether it’s a childhood home or landscape or the place where you most feel like yourself, we want to see it. Draw us a physical location that makes you feel safe, supported, and loved.

We welcome traditional work in flat mediums as well as flat-ish mediums such as embroidery or collage that may contain elements better captured with digital photography as opposed to scanning, just as long as the final file meets the minimum size and quality requirements for printing. another gift for my partner. I took some liberties with the pattern: a knitted neckline and cuff because I prefer the texture and elasticity, a split hem, and a thumb hole in the cuff
Latest finished knit: Daisied Vest by Eugenie Girou. This was quite a challenge and I had to frog a couple of times trying to manage 3-color stranding, a stitch count misread, and then steeks, but I’m very proud of how it turned out 🌸
