I hope it's not too controversial to say, but I don't like Octoling Boy. Before Octo Expansion I desperately wanted to see an Octoling Boy, but ever since his appearance was revealed I've been disappointed by him. I don't have anything against people who do like him, there's just no customization options that suit the sort of vibe I typically want for myself or my characters. I can't really describe it other than that he just doesn't come across as cute to me personally. For this drawing, I decided to take a crack at designing an Octoling Boy OC that I like. I designed a custom hairstyle, and made him androgynous.

HAPPY NEW YEAR’S 2020!!

I dedicate this to the games that helped shape my decade more than any other. I’m feeling particularly nostalgic today. I can’t believe how much has happened in the past decade, and how much I have changed and grown since 2009. Here’s to another brilliant decade of video games! Cheers everyone!!

The Mechanic!

Very happy to see Splatoon getting a spin-off, at last. Obviously I had to draw the mechanic straight away, but for some reason I was art blocked and nothing I tried turned out right. Maybe there was just so much surprise pressure to draw her quickly that I needed to take a step back, and let the pressure subside.

At any rate, here's what I came up with! The background would have had more in it, but I felt too much clutter was distracting and confused the focus.

What is there to be said? Ten years ago this game changed my life, and inspired me to become an artist. I fell in love with a series on a level I never had before or since. I love you, Splatoon!!!

Metal Sonic

Been playing Atlyss, and it's super fun! I'm not even really a furry, and despite not being the target audience, I could tell from a distance it was going to be a blast. I was right! It's hard to believe this is a solo-developer project.

Thanks! I'm honored you thought highly enough of my old artwork to try and find me on another platform! I have improved a lot since then. And yes, I do still occasionally do Splatoon yuri. If you're curious I did a full redraw of my personal favorite comic from back in the day on Miiverse; Mimi and Tenley

The redraw is old as well at this point, but I think it's quality is still good enough to keep sharing it!
