Yes. I ship them. I’ve always shipped them. In the comics, in the movies. I forever will.

Bucky: you mean Winter Soldier and Falcon show
Sam: I said what I said
Bucky: I was born first

But honestly, I love this notion. It matches my headcanon for them in the films beautifully. Parallel lines are always side by side, never apart. Combined, they form an equal sign. They are equal halves of a greater whole, straight and strong on their own, but truly aligned when partnered. Better together. ♥♥
Ain’t that the truth
Look at my man, y’all. First gifset. He had this timed perfectly. He would potentially have made that hit on Vision if Wanda hadn’t tried to knife him in the face. But he had his contingency, just in case. Always thinking five-to-ten steps ahead, this man knows how to play against the big dogs with their super-powers. He knew he couldn’t BEAT Vision on his own. He knew he just needed long enough to get Wanda out. And when Wanda hesitated, he knew he had to just give her long enough to make up her mind. Just like in AoU, she needed that, “you step out that door, you are an Avenger,” moment.
Fighting T’challa, you’re not gonna tell me for an instant he didn’t know that either A) his arrows were gonna bounce right off that suit, or B) this dude in the cat suit probably has good reflexes and can stop my arrows. He got close. He was almost fast enough, but again, he’s fighting the big dogs with their superpowers and enhanced abilities, so he thinks ahead and uses explosive arrows - not Loki-level explosive arrows, because he doesn’t want to take the guy out. He just wants an edge in the fight - a minute of distraction to give him a chance.
And of course Clint knows everything about Tony’s suit. Fight style, speed, maneuverability... he knows what parts of the suit he needs to take down to have a chance, and he knows how fast he needs to move to outpace it.
But more importantly, he knows PEOPLE. Clint sees better from a distance. It’s what makes him such a great Avenger. He knows what makes people tick, and he knows what to expect from them and how to play on that. He knows who to trust and who has his back in the fight (in this case, Wanda). He knows he can count on Tony to pause long enough to make a dumb quip about him missing a shot. He is just so dang good at what he does and I love him heaps and tons.
There’s a lot of stuff (A. LOT. OF. STUFF.) that ticks me off about Civil War, but at least they let Clint properly go toe to toe with the others in the fight!
