Macgyver 2016 x White Collar headcanons
-initially, Mac and Neal are very unsure and terse with each other. However, once deep into the mission or project, they get on swimmingly. Both are extremely competent and focused, and both improvise complicated, science-y stuff on the fly. A few words, hardly comprehensible, and the other moves to fix the project in response. It freaks them both out.
-On the other side, Jack and Peter do not get along whatsoever. They bump heads on basically everything besides Die Hard being the best movie ever made.
-Neal is horrified by Mac and Jack's lack of culture and taste. Mac doesn't care, Jack takes it as a challenge and talks solely in 80s references for a solid few hours, just to see Neal's face
-Jack wants to adopt Neal by the end of the mission, but Neal decides to go back to New York anyway
-Mozzie knows of Jack and Mac, as well as several of their aliases already
-Mozzie isn't sure if he's more or less bothered by Phoenix than he is by the suit. On one hand, he already knew secret government agencies existed, operating in the grey. On the other, they are still a secret government organization.
-Jack and Mozzie get along very well, mostly to spite Peter
-Riley and Neal flirt, maybe even kiss
-Mozzie is very offended that Riley, a fellow criminal, wouldn't break into the NSA for him
-Bozer knows about some of Neal's forgery work, and they end up talking for hours about techniques for more realistic replications, surprising everybody. Neal is very interested and impressed by Bozer's silicon masks, and absolutely ends up volunteering to star in one of Bozer's movies. When he asks for his radius time in California to be extended, he insists to Peter that he has a duty to support the arts
-Mozzie is ALSO very interested in Bozer's masks, albeit for less wholesome reasons
-Neal takes up paper clip shaping after seeing Mac do it. He gets very good at it
-Peter hates Mac's improvisations, but he ends up admitting that they do work
