What’s so bad about Loki/Sylvie? Let’s be honest because we all know Loki will be down on fucking himself
Sure Loki/Sylvie as a crack ship why not? For the LOLs Selfcest shouldn’t be taken serious at all. Hell we stared with Loki/Mobius as a crack ship. You know what gives me the ICK when y’all do ship Loki and Sylvie though? Here’s a short list.
Look at this interesting piece I read.
You wouldn’t screw a twin…that’ll be considered incest (also something a lot of people are…unfortunately to my knowledge into). If twins are called “nature’s clones” despite the fact they still share different genetic makeup, why shouldn’t yourself not be disclosed as well?
You know what also makes Loki and Sylvie like twins/siblings? Sylvie obviously doesn’t consider themselves as a Loki anymore therefore making it a dead name. They also have different personalities despite being raised (and born) from the same parents. They, whether many people like it or not, are in many ways, like twins/siblings.
Which is why many people, especially those with siblings, find this ship weird and gross.
Yeah I know it’s fiction and people are still going to ship it no matter what others say. I’m still going to say the same thing if asked or whenever I get the opportunity to because fuck it I can.
Also I can’t help but call this so unoriginal. What a precious thing that people are shipping both Loki and Sylvie and people jumped on that opportunity to ship the “only” feminine character in the show opposite of Tom but I have yet seen the same energy for Hunter B15? Hell that one scene in the episode of Sylvie and C20 have more romantic vibes IMO than Loki and Sylvie. That is also kind of sus of the fandom 👀 if you know what I mean.
It also means (if it happens) that the show will be using Sylvie despite also being a Loki as a female romantic means “necessary” for the male protagonist-something that has been done a bazillion of times. Fans are holding out hope so because of Tom Hiddleston saying that Loki will learn to love himself to love others. Loki loving Sylvie, a version of himself, is not literally learning to love himself.
In conclusion, selfcest is a joke that has gotten too far and it’s making y’all be morally questionable.
