i’m a bit burnt out on acnh and i started playing more pocket camp again and it made me realise how much cool stuff pc has (and how little acnh has)?? anyone else feel me, i feel like there should be so much more furniture and diys in new horizons??? idk, i hope fall update brings more stuff to do!

a short story about bluebear:

sprinkle moved out (sad but she asked many times and she had a boring starter house and i also had her picture so i let her) and i went island hopping with an open mind and saw bluebear pretty early on. i never really thought anything about her but when i saw her she was SO CUTE and i was like omg !!!! she like cute cute! i continued bc i wanted to see more and said to myself “if i see her again i’ll take her” WELL obviously i saw her again in like 10 tickets and i was like..... OK CUTIE COME WITH ME and she’s literally the most adorable little thing ever like i’m in LOVE WITH HER

also she says peach which melted my heart... i’m still waiting on her to yell “Peach, peach!” to my face it’s so adorable

as a european and furthermore being from a nordic country it is honestly very difficult to approach the situation in america and understand how embedded racism is in that country. but it’s absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. 

i really struggle to word my thoughts but i just want to say that if you’re finding it difficult to take part in the conversation or make a voice or feel like you have nothing to give or say, i understand, but please at least acknowledge that you’re in a very privileged place to be able to make that choice. 

i feel very conflicted about the many people posting black squares on my ig feed today and i totally agree that performative activism isn’t gonna get things anywhere. but not all of those people are just trying to find an “easy way out” and post something to be over with it, some of them try to mean well and maybe don’t know how to just to that. and i’m not about to attack them. 

but please, the least you can do is seek!!! information!!! literally watch some netflix, that’s what we’re all doing now anyways. listen. stop being uncomfortable posting anything about this or acknowledging the situation. i bet if you educate yourself even one bit, you’re going to get really disgusted real fast and i hope you want to use your voice then.
