Throughout my life, I’ve had lots of hobbies, but I think the one that I like the most is designing spaces for buildings. It was my professor who taught me this skill for a long time ago. I don’t remember exactly when, but it was probably 10 years ago when I was in University. I still remember the first time I saw him drawing. I was instantly impressed by his talent. He could clearly organize all rooms to have different functions in the plan. At that time, I wished that I would become a person like him. Therefore, I have spent all of my time to practice it.
What is special about this pursuit is that I need to read numerous books to research and broaden my horizons on the topic. Moreover, I not only sketch spaces on paper but also draw it on a computer or even make models. I will share with you all of the steps of designing spaces for buildings. Firstly, I receive some requirements from clients or other colleagues, then I research from other existing buildings. After that, I sketch the ideas on paper. To make sure it is suitable for users, I often draw it on the computer to check the dimensions, equipment, materials and even lighting. Sometimes, I also make models because they are something real that I can touch and feel. Therefore, the models can boost my creativity more. To be honest, I never get bored by this activity.
When it comes to the reasons why I like this hobby. I consider it like a problem-solving activity in mathematics. I’m extremely happy when I find a good solution for it. If you ask me, I totally believe that I want to design buildings for the rest of my life and I have no hesitation in saying this. In the future, I hope that I have more opportunities to travel and gaze at the most gorgeous man-made landmarks to acquire more experience. So that when I go back home and sit in front of my drawing board, I could design new buildings better than those I’ve done. I always follow the quote “ do what you love, and love what you do”.

Owning a business is good for many individuals. It is also a goal in my life. I would like to establish a small studio designing houses and apartments. Four years ago, I worked in a small studio and had an opportunity to design a penthouse on the top of a highrise building. It was a great experience because it gave me a chance to know the life on the top floor of the building and got more experience by designing it.
During the time I had designed this apartment, I gained hands-on experience about how to run a small project like this, such as meeting clients to get information, designing and presenting to these clients and meeting constructors to build it. To make a studio, I need to get licenses to operate a company. To get these licenses, I need 5 years experience related to the type of buildings which I want to design. After that, I need to take a test from the Institute of Architects to check and make sure that I know all laws and standards to design it. Moreover, I need to have a portfolio to show to my clients in the future that I absolutely have experience and ability to design their houses.
I think that my own business would develop in the future because I still receive plenty of invitations to design. All of them come from friends of my previous clients. Moreover, I am not scared that it might fail because the finance to run a small studio is not high. I just have to buy some computers and software for my employees. Additionally, I do not need a lot of staff to run it. Furthermore, the demand for private houses is still a high proportion, especially apartments and condos; therefore, I absolutely believe that my business would be successful.

To become a good leader, a person needs lots of characteristics such as confidence and responsibility. First, a leader should be confident. In fact, if a leader is not confident in some things they doing, subordinates will never follow them. They should be a model for their other staff to follow. Secondly, a leader should be responsible for the result of projects whether it is good or bad because they are the person who makes a plan, choose their other colleagues to run projects, and checks all things in these projects.
Making decisions, having more knowledge and experience in their field, and having soft skill are these skills of leaders who I worked with in previous companies. The fact that, they have the ability to take the right decision. They already have thought long and hard before taking a decision but once the decision is taken, stand by it. Additionally, they already through a lot of previous projects; therefore, they are able to make a good plan to do it. Furthermore, to work with others, the soft-skills are necessary because they are able to understand staff and control them to follow their target.
When it comes to why I think these leaders are successful people; they have more power in their company because they have the ability to make decisions to manage projects. Moreover, they also have a higher salary than these other colleagues because they work very hard and have more responsibility. They have more respect from colleagues because of their intelligence and their vision. To me, a leader like a captain who directs a ship to a good place. Without a doubt, they are one of the most important people in companies.

Recently, we have seen a considerable rise in the number of people changing eating habits. They tend to become vegetarians. I also want to change myself following this trend, but I can not do it at this time because the price of vegetables or organic food is more expensive in Toronto than that of meat. This means that I still eat meat, but I reduce my meat consumption. I already have over four years of experience as a vegetarian; as a result, my health improved at that time.
There are several reasons why people choose not to eat meat. Firstly, most of them believe that the animal has feeling and a spirit like a human being. Therefore, it is unethical when people kill animals to get food. Secondly, a healthy lifestyle is one of the important factors that people consider in choosing food. In fact, numerous researches show that health problems are linked to eating meat, such as obesity, heart disease, and many types of cancer. Thirdly, eating less meat also save the environment. The fact is that the carbon footprint generated by raising animals like cattle is high. According to researchers, the second highest carbon footprint comes from raising animals.
Clearly, most of the problems would be reduced if people reduce the consumption of meat. People would live longer if they stop eating meat. They could avoid the risk of disease. The world would become more friendly when we do not see the blood of killing animals. The environment also improves when the amount of carbon footprint decreases due to stop raising animals. Without a doubt, I will try to become a vegetarian as soon as possible.
Hunting is a popular sport. Hunting advocates claim that hunters replace natural predators, and in some cases, help maintain the health of an animal population, such as deer. From my perspective, the physical environment is extremely important to people's abilities such as creativity or productivity. To be honest, I want to work in a room where is highest in a city. I am able to see outside without obstacles. I'm eager to see the different colors of the sky during the day. Additionally, I need a small garden where I am likely to relax and breath fresh air. In fact, people work more productivity in green spaces with more trees. Moreover, furniture is also an important factor which allows me to work comfortably. All of the dimensions of furniture must fit with my body and flow ergonomics.
Honestly, I feel uncomfortable and unable to work productively in a private space because I feel isolated and tired. Especially, some places don’t have windows and natural light. The temperature is also crucial effects to productivity at work. In fact, most of the research shows that temperature 20 degrees is suitable to work in. People are able to perform better at this temperature. Another factor affects productivity at work is noise. Noises will impact the ability to concentrate. The fact is that loud sounds could make people angry and distracted.
Clearly ,a healthy environment is important for people’s physical and emotional wellbeing. There are several features that create healthy environments. Firstly, that is the shelter where people feel safe; where people are able to avoid noises and keep at a suitable temperature. Additionally, the place where people are close with nature. Clearly, a traveling-lifestyle has more advantages than a traditional lifestyle. Traveling helps us broaden our horizons. The would be becoming smaller. In fact, if everyone really tried to learn about other cultures via traveling, the world would be more peaceful because we are likely to understand each other. From my perspective, every time I travel, I learn wonderful, strange, amazing and interesting things about other cultures. Therefore, I always find any chance to travel. I often tell myself that “you can always make more money, but you can’t always make more memories”.

It is the best way to help them continuing study because it allows students to study at any time they want and it also reduces money and time to travel to school. Second, teachers need to convince parents of these students respecting the hobbies of their children. They should allow their children to study anything they want. Moreover, rewarding and scholarships for good students also motivate them to continue to study. It is necessary to help students continuing study because society would be better and more organized if all citizens are educated.
