Ghilan on the other hand did her vallaslin herself when she was in the Kirkwall circle, shortly after witnessing what she THOUGHT was Evyn murdering both of her parents. From Ghilan’s perspective, Evyn’s mistakes were all intentional and indicative of her abandoning the Dalish
Sorry for the radio silence. I've been busy with cons, zines, cms, got sick, but in between my partner and I started creating a new world with new (and some old) blorbos.
Think a fantasy world that suffered a great catastrophe during which all the magic and magical beings died.
Liam, Quin and Cass are brand new. And since I like recycling my characters a lot, I grabbed Ulric and Valeria. (... and Jim and Ady and Mort's Zach and some others...)

Most of these are from March/April, when I was focused on giving the characters face and hairstyles (some were tougher than the others).
I knew exactly what I was looking for when it came to Liam - my sad wet bird of a guy. A lonely scavenger with too many skeletons in his closet. His outfit might change a little (I'm not fond of his boots in particular), but otherwise I'm quite happy with the result!
Quin on the other hand? Boy, trying to figure out a blond twink of your own after drawing SO MANY of them in the past few years was tough, because I knew that no matter what I do, he'll look like somebody I've already drawn before. My nerdy boi with a photographic memory, who's far too smart for his own good (while also being incredibly impractical and entirely dumb about certain things). Definitely not a fighter, more of an explorer and a 'scholar'. Collects remaining magical artifacts/trinkets.
Ulric is-- Ulric. Since I already tweaked his origin (and his armor) a lot for the original game character version, it wasn't that difficult to come up with a new one for the needs of this story. I could just go wild without fearing of messing up the canon characters around him. Gave him one of my older chars as his brother. In this new world he's a ranger, still goes insane about wolves, is still a bastard and his right eye is actually blind this time. His surname is Norbrook here and he's a regent of a city up in the north.
Cassian was also a question mark. I knew what type of character I needed to match Ulric in the world (...of course I did), but I still wanted him to be unique in his own way. So I ended up with a fox. Another redhead elf to my collection (a third one actually???). He's from the hottest city in the south. A mages' son, a spy, a thief, a slave, a runaway, a killer only when he needs to be (doesn't enjoy it). He dyes his hair and changes his henna-like tattoos to look different often. So technically -- all of the concepts I have for him here are valid? But in my head he's almost always redhaired.
And Valeria. A free soul. Cass' best friend and his 'savior'. Rider from the great eastern plains. A nomad, a storyteller, an ambassador. I've had her for ten years (wait whut) now and I keep dropping her into EVERY single cameo I can think of, because she's just... fun.
I think I' went'm going a little insane about this story. Kept saying I hope this project survives the con season. Only one con left this Saturday and the prologue (the most complicated part) is almost finished (6/8 pages done, 2 more almost finished).
I wanted to drop these here just to show off my new blorbos and maybe give you a hint of what I've been doodling and building in between all the work.
Fingers crossed this doesn't die the moment I finish the last page of the prologue. I feel like I might slowly start to recover from my burnout and I'm just pouring all of my self indulgence into this project.
happy end au where gojo ended up not killing geto in the alley. since geto lost an arm i figured he wouldnt have it grow it back with rct but instead have some kind of a curse arm fusion (surely in his collection he would find a curse that would work for that?)
