(I feel so maternal towards young Adam, I mean look at him 😖)
• Adam was spoiled as a child — not in a bad way, but at his birth he was showered in gifts just like a little Prince should be.™️
• One of his favourite things was a pink and gold stitched baby blanket which cemented his love of pink # forever
• Out of both parents, he’s always been closer to his mom. He looks up to his dad but he always feels like he has to be somebody else. With Marlena, he can just be Adam.
• On stormy nights when Eternian skies light up with lightning, Marlena will sing quiet lullabies to Adam and stroke his hair in order to get him to sleep.
• Cringer and Adam tell scary stories when they have sleepovers (or really, it’s just Cringer moving from his basket into Adam’s bed) and they end up scaring themselves SHITLESS so when a bird passes by outside they just run for mom. 🏃
• Adam’s favourite food is pancakes. I don’t know why, but it just is. Eternian banana pancakes especially. 🥞
• Adam LOVES fantasy books. On days he pretends to be sick to miss training or school, he sits in bed and reads story after story about dragons or mighty warriors or princesses.
• Sometimes he wishes he had a sibling (because obviously he doesn’t know *wink wink*) so they could play together and have twin telepathy.
• Randor’s gift to Adam for his 5th birthday is a training sword. Adam accidentally whacks him in the shins with it and it’s confiscated. For the rest of the day the words are ‘look, don’t touch.’
• Adam’s favourite fruit (aside from exclusive Eternian berries) is apricot.
• He’s really good with constellations. Knows all the names and stories behind them. It’s something Randor taught him.
‘Look, my boy. They tell tales with their light. The warriors of the past reside beside them. If you know all the names, you will never be alone.’
• He’s right handed. Teela is ambidextrous and tries to teach him how to write with both hands and the ink ends up going all over their books. Duncan nearly has a fit.
• If he wasn’t a Prince, he’d like to be an artist. He loves to draw and excels in art class.
