Annabeth heard foot steps coming towards her which frightened her a bit. She didn’t know what was in the woods. She took a small step back, before noticing that it was just a dog. Smiling she knelt down to pet him only to notice the girl running after him. “He’s a cute dog.” She said over to the girl giving her a smile.

She tossed her chocolate ringlets back over her shoulder, slightly out of breath, she gave the girl a nod. "Thanks," she replied. Luke seemed to think she was friendly enough, so Kat didn't see her as a threat. But still--who was she. "Sorry about that," she muttered, giving a quick snap of her fingers to Luke for him to come back to her.

Annabeth didn’t know how she had gotten where she was. Hell she didn’t even know where she was or who she was. She just found herself somewhere in the woods which seemed really odd. A dagger was strapped to her hip and a hat in her hand. She didn’t know why but those items seemed really important.

You have to be kidding, she thought, as Luke, her beloved husky barked and took off. With a huff she ran after him. "I have got to get a leash for that boy," she muttered. Then blue hues snapped up. It was a girl. Oh you have really got to be kidding, she though as Luke went padding up to her, tail wagging lazily. She was not picking up any more strays.
