It was a sunny day, not like any other, but nothing particularly special about it either. The only special thing was that something was about to happen. If true love were to happen, this was something that hadn't been written or even imagined.

That was the day they chose, in the place they chose, with their friends. Something was destined to happen, because they were going to get married. It was something we already knew, nothing new. We all imagined that she and he would end up together; it wasn't a new discovery. But there was something strange about him, as if he couldn't believe this was real. After winning the Super Cup 3-2 against Real Madrid, that boy, who was becoming a man that day, couldn't believe what he was experiencing. She was the woman of his dreams. Everything was planned; they had talked it through.

It wasn't a surprise or an unexpected twist; it was simply the logical end of a story that always knew where it was going. We all knew it, even before they dared to say it out loud. Even so, there was something strange about him. It wasn't doubt, but awe. As if he couldn't quite believe that life could be so generous. After winning the Super copa 3-2 against Real Madrid, that boy, who that day became a man, continued walking among memories, aware that he had won much more than a trophy. The victory was behind him; what mattered was right in front of him. She was the woman of his dreams. The one who had been in every version of him, even the ones he wasn't proud of. Everything was planned, discussed, decided with time and care. But no plan can prepare anyone for the absolute certainty of loving and being loved in return. And so, without grand speeches or exaggerated promises, they understood that they didn't need any more chapters. Because some stories don't end: they live forever in those who read them. And that day, amid applause, knowing glances and a sincere "yes," their story found its end... which was also a beginning.
